League Rules

League Fee: $60 per team

Payouts- 1st place- $300

2nd place- $100

Division winners- $30 each ($60 )

Most Points- $90

Most Weekly Awards- $30

injured players can only be kept if injured while on your roster

Teams list of keepers due February 27th

Contracts- keepers will have a 3 year contract on your team

Players acquired through mid season trades will finish the year on old teams contracted time, starting their 3 years the following year

Free agents acquired prior to the all star break will start under contract that year, same will go for minor league players called up to your major league roster.

Free agents acquired during or after all star break will start contract the following year, same will apply for minor league players called up to your major league roster

“Home Grown” contracts- Players that are drafted in a minor league draft or rule 4 draft in this league and under the age of 25 when drafted, will be allowed a 5 year contract, if the said player is drafted in our major league draft and moved to your minor league roster, he is not eligible

If a player is drafted in the minor league draft, and begins the year in the majors that same year, he will not be eligible for a 5 year contract.

players acquired through FA/WW Monday claims, will also be eligible for a 5 year contract

Traded minor league players are still eligible for a 5 year contract if they have not reached your mlb roster yet.

Players under the first two years of their “Home Grown” contracts can be kept in addition to your 4 keepers each year.

IR spots- must be on the dl on mlb team

must be on your roster prior to going on the dl

must come off your ir within 5 days of being activated by mlb team

trades can not be made from this roster position, trades are from active roster only

Free Agency- all free agents will be acquired through priority lists

FA/WW transactions to go off daily at 3am

Minor League Free Agency-

Once a week, waiver wire pickups to go off at 3am Monday, you will be sent to the bottom of the fa/ww claims list and lose the player claimed if minor leaguers are picked up on any other day...for clarification, only claim minor leaguers on Sundays for Monday morning processing

Minor League Eligibility- player must start the league in the minors to be eligible for minor league status

if a keeper from your minor league roster starts the year in the majors, then you as well must start your player on your major league roster

established major leaguers, that do rehab stints in the minor leagues, are not eligible for minor league status in this league

we are setting an age limit of 25 years old to qualify for minor league eligibility

players that are injured in the mlb, are only eligible to be picked up as a fa/ww in the mlb

there is no requirements to bring a minor leaguer up during the season to your mlb roster even if they have been brought up in real life, but once brought up, they need to be in the minors again to be eligible to send back down in this league

Divisions- divisions are drafted by the top two teams from the previous year

Schedule- 3 games against divisional teams, 1 game against other division

Playoffs- top four teams from each division

Matchups will be from division, 1vs 4, 2 vs 3

Teams not in the playoffs will not be allowed to pick up free agents

Once you are eliminated, you are locked from free agency

Future Drafts- teams will be ranked at the beginning of the year in February based on projected rankings of their 4 mlb keepers by CBS.com projections based on our scoring

Teams will be ranked 1 through 12 based on projected total points of the 4 keepers, lowest total team drafting first

Rounds 1-4 will go draft spots 1-12, this will be done on message board

Rounds 5-8 will go draft spots 12-1, this will also be done via message board

Remaining rounds will be serpentine starting at 1, this will be done via live online draft

Minor league draft will take place after the start of the mlb season, on the first Monday of the season and will be held in reverse draft order from our mlb draft
