I am looking for a fantasy baseball league.

I would like a keeper/dynasty, but am willing to do redraft if the situation is right. I want to do Head to Head as I dont like Roto very much. Pretty much any buy in works for me, but I dont want it to be free as I dont want people to lose interest.

If anyone has a spot open in a league or a new league forming, I wouldnt mind taking a look to see if its a good fit.

I commish a small (8 team) fantasy baseball league that is going into it's 3rd season. We're mostly a local group of guys that play fantasy baseball to have something to do when fantasy football isn't in season, but we've had one guy drop and we haven't been able to replace him. It's a H2H redraft league, start 1 C/1 1B/1 2B/1 3B/1 SS/1 INF/4 OF/1 UTIL/5 SP/2 RP, with weekly lineup settings. Cost is $30. I just started running Baseball leagues at Phenoms this year. About half of the leagues are Head to Head. Still have openings in Auction and Live Draft leagues, as well as one Dynasty league. (6 minor league spots)

Payouts are about as high as you'll find for a commercial site. Customer service is top notch and my reputation has been well established through the numerous football leagues at Phenoms over the past 7 years.

I am new to the league. I believe it has been running for quite a few years with the same core of guys. The buy in is only $8 - $10 bucks. There is no prize money. Money goes to pay the league fee.

I ended up joining a league from FantasyBaseballCafe...

Its a $75 entry and the auction is held on 3/20. They only have about half of the league filled and are looking for more people by mid next week or they will call it off. If anyone wants more details, lemme know and I will get them to you.

I am starting a new keeper league this year with a core group of guys who are very active and do not like playing for money.

PM me if you are interested and I'll send you the password. Salaries will escalate by $5 in 2013 and then by $10 each year after that. This will create a system where top players go back into the draft every few years. Why not make it a dynasty league? Well, I've played in a couple of those. They were folded due to gross non-competitiveness.

Sadly, I may have to scrap my keeper league and try again in 2012 with a money league. It is hard to find dedicated people who can play without money being involved. I have 9 people in my league. If we're not at 12 by Tuesday night I may have to fold the thing.

Well, we got up to 11 and then one fellow quit the league today. He said he received an invite to a money league. He was with us since late February and was excited about this league, but then four days before the draft it was goodbye.
