Baseball Wagering (1 Viewer)

I'm on LAA -112 (Santana) tonight for 2 units.

I'm on another bet for tomorrow already, and if nothing else changes, this will be a large wager. Will post tomorrow mid-morning with update.

 
Ok, so maybe this sports betting stuff isn't as easy as it looks. I've made 10 bets of 1 unit each in the last 5 days and I'm down 4 units.

There's gotta be a way to make money doing this. I suppose it would help if I actually knew something about baseball.

Update: After today, I have now made 18 bets of 1 unit each in the last 9 days, and now I'm only down 3.5 units. It helped that I won all 3 of my bets today because everything left in my account was on the line! (I only started with 10 units to see if I'm going to like this or not.)Still, with an ROI of -19% and a pathetic win rate of 39%, I'm gonna need to find something that works or I'll be re-loading my account soon.

Update: Since I started on 5/16:

24-23 (51%)

+2.5U

ROI: +5.34%

If I was ONLY betting on the home dogs in RS's Dog System my stats would look like this since 5/16:

11-6 (65%)

+6.5U

ROI: +37.94%

I may stick with betting on the home dogs in the Dog System for a while, as it looks to be profitable.

Nice day today. I am up almost 50 units on the year :thumbup: (I have not kept track of where I am winning. Much of those winnings are due to hitting some parlays and bb)Dog system the way I have used it has worked out well.

I am tempted to take AZ which is a dog system play but tonights game was long and lots o bullpen used so I will shy away.

My bad, I didn't realize the game was on early. I'm on Milwaukee today for 3 units. I was going to hammer it if LAA won, but they lost, so screw it.

I can't talk you off them because I lean the same way on all of them. I would like Boof and the Twins in this spot if it wasn't for how well Zito has been pitching so I think the A's are the way to go there.

I think the way the A's are playing is actually offering value on Zito. He would be a much higher price.

I took TB straight...and the A's in a par. Waiting for more info on Boof...to add.

Boof looked good in his first start, medicre in his second start. He's servicable, but nothing to write home about. I agree, because of the way the A's faired against KC I think there is value Zito here. I ended up passing though because I like the way the Twins have been playing the last couple series'.
 
Well, if the Yanks hold on here the Tigers really got exposed in this series. Yeah, I know it's only June, but how do you lose 4 straight at home when you have the best record in baseball? Maroth heading to the DL to add insult to injury.

Played a couple series' for the weekend. Got the Reds one in late and missed out on a better line. It was at +145.

CIN +134

CHW -186 1.5u

Today I have Bos/Det U 9.5

I will probly try AZ/Atl U9

So far I have

AZ +115 (dog system play)

Arizona is looking to sweep this series today. Didnt someone have a system last year that dealt with last game of series or was it the first game after sweeping?

I dont really remember.

I am also thinking of hitting the over on that game but not sure yet.

 
The system was home teams trying to avoid being swept IIRC; Hoard also had a system for teams playing the first game of a new series after a sweep IIRC -
