I ought to admit that I am not a big fan of tying up cash for several months at a time, but if I were to find a local with comparable odds here is what I like:

WS: In addition to the Clubs listed below, I think the Mets at 5/1 offer a good value

AL: Cleveland offers the best value here IMHO

NL: Cubs, good value IMHO as well as SD

What do the rest of you think?

Quickly glancing at this, I see no value on AL champion. Cleveland needs to be higher than 6/1 imo...probably closer to 8/1 or 9/1. The "big three" Boston is just over 2/1 to win the pennant, which is not close to fair. Detroit is 7/2 which isn't good either. NY at 3/1 is about the fairest value, but I wouldn't touch that either.

In the NL, I think Milwaukee is decent value at 10/1, as I have them on par with the Cubs who are 6/1. I actually like the Dodgers a lot this year, and 11/2, just better than 5/1 is very good imo. I'd be tempted to play both the Brewers and Dodgers, or just the Dodgers. Anyone wagering 50/1 on the Marlins needs to get their head examined.
