Sluggers? I liked Murphy's better. Cask n Flagon was nice.....but I always have a fond spot for Who's on First as one of my buddies had to drop a deuce there but there was no door on the stall. Guys were walking in laughing as he was hovering over the bowl with one hand on his junk and the other on a beer.

Is this the same ESPN that rated Dolphin's Stadium better than Yankee Stadium?

BTW, The Cask N Flagon sucks. HTH.

My favorite Wrigleyville bar is Merkle's (great name!)

I have been thrown out of The Cubby Bear.

In Boston, there are better bars than the Cask N Flagon on Landsdowne St, and at Mass and Beacon is Crossroads, one of my favorite Boston bars.

The top 3 suck, confirmed

I usually go to Boston Beer Works before the game, best buzz for your money

That bar blows. It's only cool for tourists. No one from St. Louis spends any kind of time there. For the baseball purist, Patty O's a block from the stadium is the best. For a purely great sports bar, St. Louis Sports Zone is the best. Seriously, I have lived in and around St. Louis all my life and have only been to the place about 4 times....

I was about to say something similar... that place is no big deal. There are 5 bars within walking distance of Coors Field that are better. As well as Pickles Pub in Baltimore, which at least gets credit for trying.

Nemo's is ok, but it's no where near Comerica park, it's near old tiger stadium.
It's still better than anything close to Comerica. Parked at Nemo's during the WS last year. Good times.
I like Detroit Beer Co, or state Bar. 5th ave inside the park is ok.
Never been to 5th ave. have to try it out tonight. Where is Detroit Beer Co?

I was there last night before the game. It would be nice if people actually cared about the O's after preseason football starts. You could hardly tell there was going to be a game last night inside the bar.

If you know a student or an alum, have them bring you to the Boston University Pub before a game (or just grab a student off the street to get you in.) It's in the cellar of the Castle off Bay State Rd (good place to park, too.) It's a British style pub with dark wood paneled walls. It has a very good beer selection, mixed drinks, good music on the PA, darts, and excellent sandwiches to order. It has a good mix of mostly grad students, alums, and professors with plenty of guests mixed in. It seems almost unknown, even among the students, but it has a great vibe. They close for most of August, though.

This is good information, I agree completely.
I've only been to Fenway over one weekend for two games.Night one we went to Boston Beer Works before the Friday night game because Cask n Flagon was swamped.I like BBW so much, I didn't bother trying to go to Cask n Flagon before the Saturday game
