Any Northern California FBGs feel that? My wife is saying it was a 6.1 near Vallejo.

It's always a bit scary feeling the house shake and waiting to see if if gets any bigger.

Time to go back to bed.

one of the biggest i've felt in decades. definitely some rock & roll. dog slept right through it. no damage in the house. only lost 1 case of a 375 ml sauv blanc at work. very relieved.

Any North Bay/ Sonoma FBGers here?

Hope they and their stuff are all ok.

My mom, in Sausalito, always responds with a sort of shock that I've called to check in on her after an earthquake...

Fox11LA: UPDATE: City of #Napa declares local emergency. At least six fires and 100 gas leaks reported from 6.1 #earthquake.

At 3:20 am for the first time in 22 years that I've been in the Bay Area I actually felt more than a bump or a roll. 10 seconds of light shaking in my area. Napa area is trashed though and folks are being told to say away from the Napa area as there are still aftershocks going on. Whee!

You know that Lebron doesn't play here, right?

Just checking in. Felt the quake and husband and I ran to the kid's room, I grabbed the little girl and he grabbed the boy and we all huddled in the doorway. We were there for a moment until it stopped and stayed there in case of aftershocks. Nothing damaged, everyone fine but my son (10) was scared. He hasn't been through a big quake before. My daughter (5) has no idea what was really going on.

It was not nearly as bad as the loma preieta but bigger than I can remember in a long time.

Do you hate your kids or something?

And where do you suggest we stand?
