East coast is safeStop biting your fingernails.Unsure
This reminds me of a line from the movie Grand Piano I watched on a flight yesterday, where his wife said that to him on the phone. Couldn't see him but knew he was biting his nails.Stop biting your fingernails.Unsure
Hopefully for another 1,000 years, then all bets are off.East coast is safeStop biting your fingernails.Unsure![]()
completely slept through it in the city. several precarious pictures remain completely unmoved.
All's well on the North coast.East coast is safeStop biting your fingernails.Unsure![]()
Check out this guy's feed...not so lucky...one of the biggest i've felt in decades. definitely some rock & roll. dog slept right through it. no damage in the house. only lost 1 case of a 375 ml sauv blanc at work. very relieved.
A friend of ours closer to the epicenter said the neighborhood dogs woke her up before the quake started.Any signs of pets and animals acting out before the quake?
Clearly you need to upgrade to a better dog.one of the biggest i've felt in decades. definitely some rock & roll. dog slept right through it. no damage in the house. only lost 1 case of a 375 ml sauv blanc at work. very relieved.

You know that Lebron doesn't play here, right? At 3:20 am for the first time in 22 years that I've been in the Bay Area I actually felt more than a bump or a roll. 10 seconds of light shaking in my area. Napa area is trashed though and folks are being told to say away from the Napa area as there are still aftershocks going on. Whee!
It does, especially since I never search beyond page 1!Definitely deserves two threads
It's been on page 1 with the very ambiguous title of "Bay Area Earthquake" all morning. It does, especially since I never search beyond page 1!Definitely deserves two threads![]()

How many cats do you have?
That's what she said. It's always a bit scary feeling the house shake and waiting to see if if gets any bigger.
My dog woke me up at the time off the quake. I didn't feel it but he must of thought something was going on.Any signs of pets and animals acting out before the quake?
Do you hate your kids or something?Just checking in. Felt the quake and husband and I ran to the kid's room, I grabbed the little girl and he grabbed the boy and we all huddled in the doorway. We were there for a moment until it stopped and stayed there in case of aftershocks. Nothing damaged, everyone fine but my son (10) was scared. He hasn't been through a big quake before. My daughter (5) has no idea what was really going on.
It was not nearly as bad as the loma preieta but bigger than I can remember in a long time.
Good. Unlike bierfiend's cat, your dog either cares about you or is smart enough to make sure his waitor stays alive. My dog woke me up at the time off the quake. I didn't feel it but he must of thought something was going on.Any signs of pets and animals acting out before the quake?

Depends on how close.6.1 is child's play.
The 5.8 we had here was scary as #### and had the "intensity" of a considerably bigger quake. It was an intraplate earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 and a maximum perceived intensity of VII (very strong) on the Mercalli intensity scale.
