Well ya'll.....we are here...almost. Today is the day that we have been looking forward to since the clock ran out on Super Bowl XL. We have calculated, assessed, drafted, studied, reflected, and delved into the world of the NFL for the past 8 months. The start of the 2006-07 season is upon us and I, as well as all of you have to be ecstatic!! Now, today, for this one day, we can drive home from work with a smile on our face, and know that tonight....no matter what happens, no matter how bad our day was at work, no matter how bad the wife, girlfriend, or mom's(for some of you home bodies) cooking was....we can go to that special place tonight. I am already there to be honest and my team doesn't even play until Sunday night (GGGGGMEEEEENNNNN)

We deserve this night. For the gamblers, office pool, fantasy and football fans, tonight we go to our Mecca for about 3 hours. To those of you who get to root on your boys early tonight, good luck the rest of the male race will somehow be rooting with you. To those who will be waiting for "The Heavenly Sunday”.... hold on tight, your teams opener is right around the corner. Today is one of the most exciting days of the year and as I leave my work now to go home and head to the bar, where the Wings, fries and beer will be flowing like wine, I wish you all luck in your upcoming Fantasy, gambling and rooting years. Enjoy tonight and the rest of your season, because for the next 5 months we will be engulfed in the greatest game for us fans! Enjoy ya'll

I've been bouncing off the walls all day, and driving my Southern college football co-workers nuts. I actually wish Ben was playing tonight, but I'll enjoy watching the Dolphins beat the World Champs IN Pittsburgh tonight.
