norwood hurt and was out again.ok, I get the 1st three but what's up with Snelling? Why is he a pickup?
ok, let'seeWells: co-starterGreen: back-up, TJ 31yrs oldMcCoy: Westy banged up, 30yrs oldSnelling: Turner is healthy and 27yrs oldI got them ranked:Wells GreenMcCoySnelling
He might be getting 8-12 touches even when Norwood does come back. Could be Turner motivation, could be coachspeak. Going way outside the box here, but potential Thomas/Bell/Bush scenario with Turner/Snelling/Norwood....?"Well, if he continues to run the ball like that, yes," Smith said. "He ran the ball very effectively.
"He's a guy who has come in and played fullback for us and the tailback position as well and Jason, every time he has gotten an opportunity, he has played very efficiently. He could warrant more touches."
After looking in my leagues an add to this list could be J. Charles after the bye depending on the LJ situation.I think this was started by someone in a deep lg or that needs RB help. It is a good topic if your in a money event like WCOFF or a deeper lg. That said, the two available in most of the big $ leagues are Green and Snelling. Green will go for big money in blind bidding. Snelling is sneaky, as his coach said after his 7-68 yard performance that he has earned more playing time. He is a versitale back, is running very hard, and can play FB/RB and catch passes.Good luck in week 8 all of ya!
Ok add Charles to going for bigger $ too in BB as LJ was just suspended. After looking in my leagues an add to this list could be J. From the Chiefs Website:http://kcchiefs.com/news/2009/10/27/statem..._larry_johnson/NFL network took it off, LJ is not yet suspended as ang12 said.
The Kansas City Chiefs and the National Football League are continuing to investigate the alleged comments made by Larry Johnson. Until that review is complete, the Chiefs have instructed Larry to refrain from practicing with the Chiefs or participating in other team activities. A decision regarding Larry’s status will be made once the investigation has concluded.

I hope you're wrong. Would be interested to hear a staffer's take.I dont see the split that pronounced, but he may lose 3-5 carries a game, which would stink. Though I dont see him losing goal line touches.Hesitant to say this out loud, but after some reading between the lines, I think Snelling is going to start cutting into Turner's carries a little more. This is 100% pure conjecture on my part, but here is the relevant tidbit from the following link:

Weeks 12-14 are v CAR, @ BUF and @ TB. He's worth a pick up just for those weeks if you ask me.All carries are not created equally. Beanie's skill is starting to become evident. While Shonn Green and McCoy are good, versatile backs, Wells seems to have something special about the way he runs. He could get 15+ carries from here on. He has very very good matchups coming up as well as in the fantasy playoffs.
McCoy won't get as many pure rush yards as Green, but should be the better back in a PPR league... especially while Westbrook is out. Green should be able to take advantage of a great run blocking o-line, but I am concerned about Sanchez falling apart at the seams. Pretty soon their passing game will command zero respect unless he picks it up a notch.
I'm trying to bid on Snelling just to stash him on my taxi squad. If Turner went down, or got traded, snelling looks like he could carry a full workhorse load and do very well at it.
Jamaal Charles plays for the Chiefs. While he was a pretty high draft pick (2nd round I think) its tough to be a stud on a horrible team. I think the reason that LJ remained the starter was due to pass blocking. Hopefully Charles can pass block just enough to keep his job. Otherwise I really don't care if he's a good pass blocker. In fact, the worse he is the more dump off's he will get, right?
