Beanie Wells Re-Injury Likely Overblown (1 Viewer)

Beanie Wells' ankle showed improvement Thursday, and coach Ken Whisenhunt says he's not yet concerned about the rookie's lost practice time."There are still three (preseason) games to play," Whisenhunt said. The team has yet to decide if Wells will play Saturday against the Cardinals. At the very least, it appears that reports of him re-injuring the ankle were overblown.Source: azcardinals.com
I've never moved him down in my rankings. Hope you haven't either. As someone on here put it eloquently Hightower is just a place holder for Beanie this year.

Perhaps.

Perhaps Wells keeps getting dinged up and Hightower remains a mediocre back.

Perhaps they both stay healthy and the running game remains below average.

Personally this is a run game I am not very interested in owning a piece of, unless the value is too good to pass up or one of them positively blows up over the next three weeks.

Either way someone else in my league will value both of them higher than I do.

Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said Thursday that he's hoping Beanie Wells can play "for a few snaps" Saturday.Whiz noted Wells' ability to recover quickly from Tuesday's minor setback: "He fought through that, and (Thursday) was a little bit better." Well is well behind Tim Hightower, but Whiz explained that the rookie still has three games to make his mark before the season starts.

Still think Wells is by far the most physically talented RB in this class. We'll find out if he can stay on the field.

Whats the 3rd option in Arizona? :towelwave: Has to be Jason Wright. :D Because Stephens-Howling weighs 180.
Actually the coaches are very impressed with Stephens-Howling and it looks like he is moving past Wright on the depth chart. I can't find a link right now, but I read it earlier today.
