Beanie Wells (1 Viewer)

Eminence

Beanie Wells is a hell of a player when given adequate blocking. He's well liked in the locker room and has the desire to be lead back.

If he decided to test free agency sometime soon.

His 2013 contract is a team option; worst case scenario he's a free agent at age 25.

Think he could catch on with another team and spark his career? Seems like a guy the Bengals would love to have carry the ball 20+ a game.

Or be in a committee, he's pretty decent at finding the endzone.

A change of scenery for Beanie Wells seems much needed.

I would assume the club picks up his contract for one more year but I hope the Cardinals plan on drafting a running back with an early pick.

I'm not familiar with the runningbacks from this draft class but of the Cardinals pick on the Top 10 they need to consider drafting a workhorse who can dominate games while they figure out the fiasco at Quarterback.

Kevin Kolb + Elite RB + Quality Defense = Cardinals will win games.

(oh, hi houston)

 Guy has always been overrated. Not that good and doesn't have the right frame to match his running style. Too thin in the lower body for a guy who runs hard and isn't great at avoiding contact. Like Murray and McFadden, he will always be getting "unlucky" injuries because of this. Nothing to see here. Pass him off to one of his true believers if they still exist.

I tried to trade him in my league where I stashed him on IR. I couldn't find a taker, so eventually had to cut him when I was required to move him off ir. He may have value to some people, but I certainly couldn't find it.

I only play ppr leagues so to me he is never anything more then a RB3. He is not a natural pass catching RB and even if he moves on from Arizona he is too dependent on td's for my liking.

Didn't see the game, but Beanie stat-wise, he had a good day. The upcoming schedule is brutal, but he may be able to give some fantasy teams a lift. I see him as a decent flex play moving forward.

I've never doubted Beanie's talent, but his injury history, overdone hype (2nd season IIRC), and situation have always led me to avoid him. I honestly don't see how Arizona doesn't pick up his option next year - they won't be able to sign a FA of half his caliber for less than that. Maybe if he and the HC don't get along they'll let him walk, but will Ken really be there next year? Ryan Williams looked horrible this year. Anyway, long story short, I suspect he'll stay in Arizona for 2013 and he'll be a value pick. A new HC and QB should give this offense some life and he'll be the best RB in the stable. He'll be motivated, too.

I have no idea wtf Joe was talking about in his e-mail the other day citing that Beanie should be Ryan Williams' backup next year. The "our view" section is often WAY off base. Not even worth reading half the time.

I think the QB problem is worse than the oline. I can see how they can improve the oline, just by getting some guys back + the draft, but how on earth is the QB spot going to be much better next season? I see next season as another one to avoid fitz and the arz rbs...

The real question is how could the QB situation get worse?! I mean, the answer to your question is simple... just about anybody would be an improvement. Orton and Flynn are two cheap options that come to mind. I'm sure there are others I am not thinking of right now.

IT'S A TRAP!
:goodposting:Always overvalued. Even when healthy, he's been utterly mediocre, at 54 total YFS per game and under 4 YPC. He couldn't even beat out Tim Hightower, so any 2nd day rookie or cheap FA will represent a major threat to his touches, whether Ryan Williams turns out decent or not. And whether Whiz stays or goes, I have zero faith in AZ ownership to run that franchise competently.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/24/beanie-wells-says-his-days-are-numbered-in-arizona/I know most are finished with this guy, but I think Beanie could be the latest RB to have success post Arizona.I really believe Beanie can be a 1400-1500 yard rusher for a team like Green Bay, San Fran or Atlanta. If Wells can average over 4 YPC go for 1000 yards and 10 TDs in Arizona I have faith he can improve on those somewhere else.
if he went to ATL as the 2 down & GL replacement to Turner, not gonna lie i'd buy as a RB2
