Bears Address TE (1 Viewer)

(Rotoworld) Bears signed undrafted TEs Tim Day and Cooper Wallace.

Impact: Day, highly rated by analysts, went to Oregon and Wallace is a former Auburn Tiger. Day reportedly fell due to concerns about a knee injury.

Day could be a decent fit (possibly be best pass catching TE option) and Wallace is a good UDFA to bring in. It is not as though the Bears have a great TE to beat out.

I thought Tim Day was a third/fourth round talent? Why did he slip? He was always one of the better players on the field during Oregon games.

As for the Bears TE's, Dez Clark is one of the better blocking TE's in football, which is pretty important in the system they use.

That is Pro Bowler Dez Clark to which you are referring. :X

Day is solid. A bit of a stationary target, but soft hands, and getting better at blocking. One of at least 20 players that I was shocked to see go undrafted.

Talking fantasy-wise here. If you want to start Dez Clark in a fantasy league, have at it.
