Bears at Rams - Let's Go (1 Viewer)

why did Bears accept holding penalty on incomplete pass on 3rd and 3? Afraid Rams would convert 4th and 3?

I will always dislike the thought process that 16 points is two scores. 

A team can TIE IF IF IF they can make two staright 2 pt. conversions...which is a 25% chance to do. Better off considering 16 3 scores down...will manage clock better that way

Happy to lose my $20 bets on the under & parlay. I put $100 on Rams & I’d rather have the FF win.

Me too for Fantasy.  Henderson TD would have been a loss., Also I had the Rams and the over as well!!!

I misunderstood man, my bad (thought you referring to Goff not having a run game.) Naw, Staff rarely had a run game and only had a good D maybe 1-2 seasons.

Theres about one million Lions fans who wanna see Matthew have a great year. Such a good guy.

I strongly suspect they were reserved with Henderson’s usage because all they had behind him was Sony & his limited playbook knowledge 

They salted away the game with him, and he looked fantastic. The Bears aren’t terrible against the run, and that Rams run game is lethal. He had room to build up a head of steam a couple times.

I said this in the Henderson topic, but I suspect once Michel is up to speed, they’ll run Henderson more & earlier because they can spell him with Sony, which they couldn’t comfortably do tonight. 
 

that’s my guess anyway. I’m excited by what I saw out of Henderson tonight. He’s got some wiggle, he’s quick & he has some power,  too.

Brady put on quite a show. He was drafted 4.09 as the 4th QB off the board in my redraft league. Scored 47.3 in our format. Huge. 

I drafted Stafford 9.01 - he scored 42 in our format. Also huge. 

Brady was not part of my plan this year.

I almost never go into my main league targeting a specific player. Brady was my must-have this year.

I have targets for different parts of the draft. I went in with the plan that if a ranked top 5 fell to me in the 5th I’d jump on it. Plan B was to wait until the Stafford/Herbert tier & try to bag one them. 

Brady cost 5 rounds earlier & I beat that team tonight with Stafford because I was able to get better RB & WR.  I’m glad I waited.

This is a great observation. Also, if you take away the two gimme TD bombs maybe Henderson gets a few more touches.

absolute joke where some people on here were ranking Stafford as a QB in this league in terms of ability at several points over the last few years, quite often behind rookie/sophomore flash in the pans. The importance of coaching and players around a QB is vastly underrated.
