$99 for Half Gallon Version (incl shipping)
$129 for Gallon Version (incl shipping)

If your town has microbrew spots that fill growlers, it seems like a no brainer... sure its' a lot more than a standard glass growler, but the ability to keep cold/carbonated for extended periods, plus the nice design....

In for a 128oz version :banned:

I'll just drink the regular growler in a night or two and then refill. I guess if you have to travel far for a fill it'd be worth it.

It's about 20min drive for me to fill up... But a big selling point for me is tailgating, cookouts, camping, softball/kickball, etc. I'm HOPING the vaccum double wall design will do a decent job of keeping the beer cold for a few hours out of a cooler, or longer if intermittently housed in a regular cooler.

Also I dig the idea of keeping the beer for a week or two thanks to the CO2 if I'm taking it easy that week. (I don't usually drink during the week).

If nothing else, it's a great novelty for showing up at a party.... A 12pk of good local microbrew on tap instead of grabbing a 12pk bottles/cans.

Should be fun. Wish delivery was before June 15th tho.

Looks like there are similar type product(s) out there but nothing comparable that I could find.

Agreed though, a 32oz growler is definitely a one-sitting size. That's why I opted for the 128oz size over the 64oz size.

Theres a few other growler keg/tap thingys on the market and I've never read favorable reviews of any of them...can't think of what the name of them are right now...I hope this one is better although I'll never have a use for it.

Yah this has a few features even the nicest ones out there dont (like continuous and regulated cO2 pressure, for example.)

I have never gotten into the growler fad, what would it cost to fill this?

Locally 64oz growlers generally run 10-12 bucks to fill, depending on the beer. So 4 craft pints run 2.50-3.00ea. The plus is you keep good draught beers that may be harder to find in bottles/cans ready to self serve at your house, at a party, etc.... and for less than the usual per-pint cost.

It's just a nice way to get local beer that isn't bottled. I will sometimes fill one for parties, poker nights, etc. I usually aim to fill and drink same day so this fancy growler isn't really something I would need. As for price, it depends on the cost of beer at your brewery.
