via Joe Reedy, he thinks it's just alot of talk so Seattle will offer a higher offer sheet.
How does Cincy benefit by running up the price on Marshall? I can see how Denver would want to run up the price but Cincy?
Florio at PFT offered what might be a more realistic take. That the Bengals "discussing" Marshall might be a way to drive DOWN the price for TO or Bryant. Then again, it at least COULD be possible that they figure if they have to pay a ton for a receiver that they may as well get Marshall. Though, obviously, that goes fully against the grain of the Mike Brown history. When you put on top of it that Mike Brown was one of two owners who voted against this CBA and thought it would lead to salary escalation, well, it just seems ridiculous that he would turn around and dole out a huge money contract.-QG
