Don't expect Gregg to lose his job just yet..........according to rotoworld, a source with FLA made a comment along the lines of Gregg has done his job and has done it well. Take it for what it's worth. Benitez ain't getting paid all that jack for a middle relief guy.I agree with ya though.......I was just starting to enjoy Gregg as my 3rd RP. Maybe Benitez can get hurt boarding a plane to FLA and Gregg keeps his job for another 3 weeks or so.

Brian Wilson, he's closing at AAA right now and was thought to be the front runner to replace Benitez if he was not ready to start the season. However he did have an emergency appendectomy recently, but that was 5/24 and was said it would only sideline him for a couple of weeks. Also, he had arm soreness before that, but had returned to pitching when the appendectomy happened. So he does come with risk. Brad Hennessey is the short term solution only IMO.

Benitez and his two balk performance from earlier this week was painful to watch. For those that missed it, he had two flinches that were called balks to allow the tying run to score against the Mets in extra innings. And he was then so peeved that he grooved a fastball that Delgado hit a laser into the bullpen for the victory.
