Pats fan here desperate with bye week issues.
I'm tempted to pick up the law firm BJGE and start him over Santana Moss.
Reasons:
1. TB Matchup -- Awful against the run. I have to imagine that Green-Ellis gets garbage time touches regardless.
2. L. Maroney -- I'm not sure he's to be trusted. If he dances in the hole, I could see Bill B yank him.
3. Field Conditions -- The field in london is historically cruddy. It may not be the best field for a Maroney. Meanwhile, BJGE is a straight ahead runner.
4. Washington Matchup / QB -- Don't like Moss' potential against Philly, with maybe Todd Collins throwing, and someone new calling the plays.
Very, very tempted to roll the dice here.
I would not be surprised to see the following line in PPR league:
18 carries, 82 yards, 1 TD, 2 rec, 11 yards = 17 pts.
Not sure Moss can acheive that this week.
Other guys that are available:
* P. Garcon
* Mike Wallace
* K. Burton
Thoughts?
