Graham had nearly 200 yards rushing and receiving yesterday. I'm wondering if this changes the expectation that Bennett was going to come in and be the guy in TB. I expected Bennett to take the reigns sooner than later...now I'm not so sure.

Had a similar question. I think we'll find out more against JAX, hard to judge a guy based on a DET D matchup. Graham didn't do much against the solid TEN run D, so Bennett might get more opportunities in week 8.
I'll post the same thing here I've posted in the other threads about this situation - I do not believe Michael Bennett is the answer. I didn't think he was going into yesterday's game and certainly nothing happened against the Lions that should lead anyone to think otherwise. I was baffled by all the people - including some national writers like Peter King - who were giving the starting job to Bennett and acting as if he was going to get 25 carries a game starting against Detroit. There was nothing to indicate that would be the case. All of the signs were pointing to Graham continuing to have a huge role as the starter.I expect Bennett to get a few more carries a game as he gets more up to speed in the offense but he'll be a change-of-pace RB behind Graham, who will remain clearly entrenched as the starter. The big thing Graham has shown in his two games as a starter is that he can be utilized heavily in the passing game. And that's huge in Gruden's offense since so much is predicated on short and intermediate throws (it's another reason why Ike Hilliard is going gonzo right now, moreso than Joey Galloway - the offense is tailor-made for him). The big issue with Graham is not Bennett, but the return of Michael Pittman. When Pittman returns will Graham have done enough to keep the starting job or will Pittman get it back and turn this into a RBBC? It's a pretty good bet that Pittman at the very least resumes his third-down role so Graham's huge value in PPR leagues is likely to take a big hit. That's one reason why I've been advocating trying to trade him this week. His value is as high as it's ever going to be and given how difficult the next matchup is (Jacksonville) it may be difficult to move Graham for anything of value after that.Of course, the flip side to that is Graham could still be a RB3 in PPR leagues against the Jags if he catches 4-6 passes and then remains a RB3 option once Pittman returns if he gets 10-15 carries a game and the goal-line looks.Bottom line: Bennett isn't anything to be concerned about for Graham. It's what will happen to Graham's role when Pittman returns. That's my two cents.
And the week before against a much better defense, Graham had 9 passes thrown to him and caught 6. In PPR leagues, this guy is definitely an option right now. It's a good bet he'll get a lot of targets again next week against the Jags given how he isn't likely to get much on the ground against them.
(KFFL) Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden said he was pleased with the play of RB Michael Bennett, even though Bennett saw roughly six plays during the team's Week 7 game. "We liked him. Obviously he got into a situation there on short notice. I don't think he even knows most of his coaches or teammates by name or number yet, but he got in and got three carries and was in on a couple of other playaction passes. I believe he played five or six plays," Gruden said. Gruden also added that the team would like to expand Bennett's role for the next game.
(Rotoworld) Bucs beat writer Roy Cummings believes Michael Bennett could take over as the team's featured back as he gets a better grasp of the offense.
Impact: However, with Michael Pittman's timetable for return seemingly diminishing and Earnest Graham playing well, Bennett is more likely to be a part of the committee at best. Graham is close to an every-down back at the moment.
