I didn't watch the whole game but I saw him standing on the sidelines all night, did he get hurt or benched?

Yup.Berrian killed me last night twice. I now need a monster game from Romo to pull out a win in my two main leagues.I thought they said toe.
Word is he clipped one of his toenails too close to the quick and it was, in his words, "kinda ouchy." With proper treatment, including ice cream and lollipops and plenty of cuddly time with his stuffed rabbit Mr. Woogums, he could be back in time for the playoffs.Hey, question for anyone who watched the whole game. Was the toe an issue before the game? Just curious, because even in the first half I noticed quite a few packages with Berrian absent.
I think it happened in-game, but it was hard to tell when. I think the packages sans-Berrian were mostly an attempt to get guys like Devin Hester, Mark Bradley, and Greg Olsen involved in the offense. Also, on the list of things I never thought I'd see: Brian Griese badly overthrowing Berrian on a deep route... it was like Griese wanted to prove he could heave it... (and its a good thing he did... Berrian was double covered).Hey, question for anyone who watched the whole game. Was the toe an issue before the game? No WAY Berrian is not in the game on a passing down when he's healthy enough to play. Berrian is the lone guy that is almost assured to get separation when he wants it. Also, this was a new thing I believe. He was not listed as injured and looking VERY healthy a week ago.I think it happened in-game, but it was hard to tell when. Yeah, you're right, Berrian is in on definite passing downs, there's no doubting that... was just trying to come up with a potential explanation. Checking the game tape (I'm in the 2nd quarter now..) I'm not seeing any sets sans-Berrian, so maybe LionsFan78's eyes were deceiving him.No WAY Berrian is not in the game on a passing down when he's healthy enough to play. Guess I should wear my contacts next time! I just swear I saw a some instances where Muhammed and either Bradley or Hester were in the game on passing downs during the first half. Like I said, hoping to hear from those who saw/are watching the whole game. Check closely. Berrian was definitely on the sidelines during the Bears entire first scoring drive (which took place in the 2nd quarter). I remember seeing him standing behind Lovie looking kind of pissed.LionsFan78 said:Guess I should wear my contacts next time! maybe it was a message to him for not holding onto the ball. he has had tons of key drops so far.Thats what I saw, he was standing there holding his shoulder pads looking PISSED
Possibly, but if so, the timing was odd. At that point in the game he had been targeted once...on a deep ball that was badly overthrown. In other words, why start him, then pull him to send a message about something he did in previous games?maybe it was a message to him for not holding onto the ball. he has had tons of key drops so far.Thats what I saw, he was standing there holding his shoulder pads looking PISSED
That is wierd - he's one of the few real weapons on the Bears... I really can't explain that then as a Bears fan, unless it was a breather drive or something.Check closely.
