Bert Berry Listed as a DE (1 Viewer)

I see where he's listed as the #22 DL in the latest ranking, a-la Terrell Suggs BAL-DE.

Isn't Berry slated to work as a OLB with his hand off the ground and rushing the QB and isn't his high ranking a product of his being a LB projected with a hybrid roll.....a DE with LB scoring potential?

Don't we have a poor man's Terrell Suggs here?

Right now, he is listed as a DE, so that is how we have to rank him. I agree he should be listed at LB.

I heard some whispers that he just might play end in the 3-4, not sure though.
"....that he might be a 3-down LB disguised as a DE."If he's on the field getting tackles and rushing the passer as a standup DE on third down, he's for sure a #22 DE .

I'm not ready to say that he should be moved to LB yet. Arizona is throwing a lot of different defensive looks out there, so it's hard to say how things will shake out.

However, I will say this, Berry as a 3-4 DE will struggle. He lost 15 lbs to play some LB, and at 255 will have trouble holding up against the run.. His tackle numbers would be minimal.. Hopefully that won't happen..
