Best: Tom Jackson.

Worst: Rodney Harrison: Drives me nuts and he looks fake. He really looks like he is trying to hard and he annoys me.

So many bad ones its hard to choose.

Seems like the networks figure: "hey this guy was a great football player, if we put him behind a desk people will watch" :goodposting:

Worst: Terry Bradshaw - though there are many "good" candidates. With Bradshaw and Jimmy Johnson, I will not watch one second of Fox's NFL pregame because I'd rather watch static.

Best: I voter Other - which is "None." They need to keep looking for a great former player studio analyst - because there isn't one right now.

Don't watch the studio shows, you'll be happier.

Not really sure why anyone watches them, especially anyone here. I keep NFLN on, waiting for injury news, but it is posted here just as fast anyway.

ESPN? It's like watching some sports-based Tool Academy marathon.

:D

Best: Warren Sapp

Worst: Tom Jackson

I like the way Sapp has fun with it. Likewise, Jackson makes it sound like the NFL is a live or die type of a deal. He still thinks the Broncos are the best and anyone who has fun while playing the game is evil. The way he and Berman bash certain players while being holier than thou is ridiculous.

What else am I going to watch?Re-runs of Petticoat Junction?Hmm.On second thought, you might have a point . . .

Well, I suppose everyone has a different gameday ritual, but up until gametime, for me it's NFLN on in the background, which I really only half-listen to, double-checking lineups, checking the FBG injury threads, weather reports, plus usually putting some kind of food product together. Oh, and maybe a few last minute bets with my online. Pregame is kinda hectic, isn't it?No time for the aging amateur comedy hours on ESPN and FOX. When Tom Jackson, who's been playing Ed McMahon to Berman's tired Carson for too many years, gets mentioned as Best Studio Analyst, I know I am not missing a thing. The closest I get is tuning into the Monday broadcast too early, and I catch the C'Mon Man routine. Which is an impressive segment, because I didn't think anything could get worse than those chuckleheads yelling 'JACKED UP' a few years ago. Well, I was wrong.

Exactly why I like Tom Jackson. The guy is very passionate and knowledgable about the game.

Does Jaws still do the Monday morning quarterback thing? If so, him. If not, I guess Tom Jackson. For worst, I went with Irvin, but many others deserving as well.
