I didn't include the obvious ones on purpose... I guess you might call these the emerging players this season...

Example: Ray Rice wouldn't be on here because he has obvously broke out this season and is no longer emerging since he has realized his potential. Other Players: Desaun Jax, Calvin, and the list goes on... :lmao:

May want to add Miles Austin and MSW. They seem to fit this description pretty well, and should get a ton of votes.

Crabtree had 81 yards out of a total of 198 yards from Alex Smith. He plays almost 100% of the snaps already in his first two starts and would have had 70+ yards week 7 if it wasnt for a ######ed Josh Morgan penalty. Out of 15 targets, he caught 11 balls and some of those passes looked ugly. He has stud written all over him.

Rashard Mendenhall

Averaging 18ppg last four games as a starter and has nailed down the full-time #1 gig in Pittsburgh.

wow. lots of receiver love here.

i know people are starting to turn on young RBs, but i'd take moreno, mendenhall and stewart higher than any of the receivers on the board.

i think those receivers are very good and have a lot of potential, but i still value youthful rbs that have already proven they deserve lots of carries.

Jon Stewart has produced at an extremely high level over two seasons .... this really shouldn't be a contest

I dont see him getting over 50% of the workload though, and I would assume that some of these backs will take the lead role on their team if they havnt allready. I really want to give this one to Brown, but Addai has showed he still has enough left to comand a RBBC, so I'll give it to Knowshon Moreno. Denver just seems like it should turn out like the old Steelers, a really tough defense with a run game that will eat up the clock and keep the chains moving.

So far knowshon has been OK behind that line but really hasn't even shown he is a significant upgrade over c.buck. J.Stew is averaging 4.6ypc over his career and already has 14 scores. I don't really see anyone on this list with that kind of impact. Crabtree has played 2 decent games, knowshon has been workmanlike at best, Percy is probably the closest and is a return monster but really raw lining up as a wr, Sanchez? puhlease. I stand by Stewart as no one else on this list really is even close.

Wells and it's not even close to me. Stewart would be ahead of him if either he or Williams went to another team. Unfortunately for Stewart he is stuck behind Williams.

ThisHe is already producing at a high level as the 2nd RB. When you look beyond one year, talent takes precedence and Stewart has major talent. Once he and D Will are split up Stewart should be a top 10 RB.

As much as I like Stewart, he likely will continue to be in a RBBC through 2010, that doesn't even factor in the health concerns regarding him. I voted for Mendenhall. He is the #1 RB on the Steelers going forward, and will most likely be a valuable contributor through 2010, which is after all, the questions posed here.

Went with Johnny Knox; Has the receiving skills and return skills that can be game changers. Only going to get better with time.

Wells and it's not even close to me. Stewart would be ahead of him if either he or Williams went to another team. Unfortunately for Stewart he is stuck behind Williams.
Wells? Really? that is who you pick? .... he can't even send tim hightower to the bench. I think he is a talented player but what makes you think he is going to be in anything but a RBBC?Stewart might be "behind" williams but he still gets 15+ touches a game and is more talented than wells. The only other player on this list I buy is Mendenhall but Stewart is just more talented than he is.

Percy Harvin is the real deal and so is that passing offense. I was a deep skeptic, and badly wrong about this guy. He's a stud.

Tough one..but I like the RBs on the list better than the WRs in general. I like Moreno and Mendenhall the best on that list...but voted Moreno. I think once Moreno wins the job mostly to himself...I think he'll be pretty darn good. He runs behind a great o-line in denver and I just like the way he runs...been watching him for years in the SEC. Always hated when my LSU Tigers played Georgia when Moreno was around.

Gotta go with Stewart. I'm looking long-term, and I think they give him the starting job in 2011. At that point, he'll be a top-5 back.

I'm one of 8 (so far) that voted McCoy. He is showing flashes and may have the biggest opportunity of all the choices come next year, especially in PPR.

I don't know, Crabtree has done in two games what some guys take gradual steps to do... He will end in the top 15 WR from here on out, thats why I chose him.

Wells is only behind Hightower because he is making rookie mistakes in pass protection and has had some fumble issues. Both are typical problems for rookie RBs and both are easily correctable with time.

For me it was between Crabtree and Harvin. Crabtree has been fairly impressive so far given the circumstances. That said, Harvin is flat out explosive and I think as he grows into his role as a WR, he'll be almost impossible to cover - hell, he's already very tough to cover. He is a truly special talent (not that Crabtree isn't, but he's nowhere near Harvin in terms of explosiveness). I think both have a great chance to be fantasy studs next season. So, yeah, I voted Harvin.

Of the RB's listed, I would have voted Stewart, but since the question specifically asks about 2010, I went with Harvin. Stewart will still be on the wrong end of a timeshare in 2010. Come 2011, it will be a different story. I'm trying to acquire Stewart in my dynasty league right now and am willing to pay a whole lot to land him.

Stweart has been great, but the reality is, he is second fiddle to another YOUNG, 1st round pick...this is not Lamont Jordan behind a crusty old Curtis Martin. When DeAngelo hits FA and he is still keeping up this pace, is there any chance that Carolina lets him go??? I picked Mendenhall, because he is behind a vet that is showing wear and his team is dedicated to the run (which is why I never really considered Wells). Stewart could be the guy, but it depends soley on Williams getting hurt. Mendenhall on the other hand, is relegating Parker to the short end of a RBBC. I considered Harvin/Crabtree, but I like to see what WRs over more time than RBs when betting the farm on them.

CRABMAN ALL THE WAY!!! I BET HE OUTPRODUCES ALL ROOKIES FROM NOW TILL THE END OF THE SEASON!
I wouldn't doubt it. I can see him producing anywhere between Derrick Mason and Brandon Marshall from here on out. He is one week away from becoming a no doubt about it every week starter, IMO. It seems to me that some people are gun shy about starting him over run of the mill WR3, after this week there will be no doubt. FYI, I dont own Crabtree in any leagues (though I did earlier in the season, but I had to make some tough roster decisions. I lose sleep over it sometimes).

I feel you on that one, I picked up Crabman from the waiver wire, then dropped him only to have him sing his contractat which point someone else picks him up. So what did I do? Since I had Cutler and Rodger and didnt need Cutler I made the trade for Crabtree for Cutler! So like I said I feel ya!
