Novak vs. Rackerscoin flip?
I have the exact same decision, and I have Rackers in there based on a couple of things. Indy figures to have trouble sustaining drives, which should give the Texans some short fields where they are already close to FG range. Also, the Chargers will likely need TDs and not FGs to keep up with the Lions. Now for the monkey wrench: Rackers just showed up on the injury report (right calf), but he practiced fully yesterday.Anything to be concerned about? We get bonus points for FGs over 50 yards. I would hate for Kubiak to not put him out there for long FGs because of the bum calf. I can't find any additional info on the innerwebs.
I stuck with Rackers. Actually didn't have a choice. Was traveling and didn't have time to make the change, so he was stuck. I'll take 11.
 I'll take double-digits from a kicker all day long!But how'd you get 11 and not 10?
4 for 40+ yarder

Nice. We don't get bonus points until 50.

Saints vs. Falcons always seems to be a field-goal fest. Wouldn't mind having either Kasay or Bryant come Monday night.
Decided to look this up to see if this was indeed the case . . .2011 Game 1:ATL 36, 29, 27 FGs and 2 XPNO 52, 48, 44, 26 FGs and 2 XP2010 Game 1:ATL 23, 46 FGs and 3 XPNO 32 FG and 3 XP2010 Game 2:ATL 2 XPNO 52 FG and 2 XP2009 Game 1:ATL 25, 40 FGs and 3 XPNO 5 XP2009 Game 2:ATL 36, 30, 27 FGs and 2 XPNO 33, 38 FG and 2 XP2008 Game 1:ATL 22, 27 FGs and 4 XPNO 24, 44 FGs and 2 XP2008 Game 2:ATL 23 FG and 2 XPNO 26, 46, 25 FGs and 2 XP2007 Game 1:ATL 38, 33, 21 FGs and 1 XPNO 2 XP2007 Game 2:ATL 2 XPNO 23, 36 and 4 XPI count 11 good outings for kickers out of 18 total opportunities. I don't know what would be considered "good" for a comparison, but it looks like the chances of a decent week from a kicker in this game is pretty decent.

Ok, who went with Gano?Playing him over Hanson netted me 7 points.
I went with Gano in 2 leagues, benched him in a third for Nugent. Didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket. Pretty dumb when I think about it now. I think I'll win easily in one league, and am still a longshot in another, but Gano sure helped out with 18 pts.
