Tough call actually. For major characters Hawkeye and Radar are probably tops on my list. For a minor character it is tough to argue against Col. Flagg.

Sidney Freedman was a great character. Made me want to be a psychiatrist as a kid, until my dad said i had to go to medical school. Actually might have been a good one, I know and can read people really well, even women.

Anyone that suggested Sidney has flippin' problems in the skull. That guy creeped me the hell out. I still can't watch a Sidney episode without having my skin crawl.

That's probably because he made Hawkeye remember the dead baby.
