Best piano in heavy rock (1 Viewer)

Listening to Karn Evil 9 by ELP. Some amazing piano playing. What are some other great heavy songs that feature piano? Not so much organ, but piano.

Page McConnell. Try "bathtub gin" or "David Bowie" for starters. Or maybe "divided sky" although it is more lyrical and less rock. You can thank me later.

I've always loved the piano bit in the live version of "Free Bird" (Skynyrd)

Some of the choices in this thread are pretty bizarre, considering the OP said "heavy rock" instead of just "rock."
I didn't want to say metal but wanted to stay away from some of the lighter stuff. Still some great suggestions though.

What is the weight at which it becomes heavy?
Heh, I'll let you guess, but I cannot imagine anyone describing Allman Brothers, Kansas, Meat Loaf, Styx, etc. as heavy rock. But whatever.
Meat Loaf had to rock the scales at about 300 lbs. That is pretty f-ing heavy.
True dat. I actually saw him execute a perfect flying cartwheel from one side of the stage to the other at the end of a concert at Hammersmith Odeon, London. Pretty astounding sight to see someone that weighty wearing a suit and dress shirt do that.

Oh, and Steinman's piano at that concert was outstanding.
