Best recap show? (1 Viewer)

I used to watch PrimeTime, but it's crap now.

I get normal cable channels, but don't get NFL Network. What's the best highlight show out there now?

When I lived near NY I used to love Steve Cohen's recap show on WFAN. Before him they had the shmoozer playing clips from each game and it was excellent radio.

No clue if they still have it on

BTW NFL.com does have some video highlights well worth checking out each week

You can download the NFL Network's recap show, I think it's called Gameday, from iTunes.

It's about 75 minutes of highlights per week with Eisen, Deion, and Mooch. It costs $2 per episode, or you can order the whole season for $20.

i agree, the innnernet is the way to go now. Lots of free videos on all the major sites. i usually just go to sportsline and look at their scoreboard.

if you miss prime time... sports center sun night (8 pm my time but 11 EST) has berman & TJ doing what now goes by the name of nfl blitz but is essentially the same as prime time... it is more abbreviated, doesn't lead & is interspersed with other sports footage, but mostly football... ideally if you have tivo/dvr, you can fast forward to the good parts...

doug's suggestion sounds like a good one... NFL network has a solid recap package, with probably more comprehensive video highlights...

i tried the NBC football night in america thing the other night and thought it was halfway decent. the commentary is a little smarmy but the highlights arent bad. definitely something to tivo through..i wouldnt want to listen to all their takes..

dont know if its the same each week but they started with 15 mins of commentary and whatnot so you have to forward through that....but then they got to highlight packages from all the games. i went in expecting to be disappointed but was mildly surprised. not all bad..if you can get past peter king always being so proud of who calls him on his cellphone after the games.. "talked to so and so the GM from this team..blah blah." i mean his access to these guys is close to unparallelled but he sure does know it and like to tell you about it..

how can NFL primetime SUCK . when its not on anymore

UNLESS YOUR TALKING MONDAY night .. which then who really cares
