Demolition Man, not even close either.
So utterly boring. Well made, well acted but B-O-R-I-N-G, also was not a huge success at the box office. HBO used to like to play that movie in the early 80s.Victory!

First Blood is so good and he actually at times is not the primary focus. Brian Dennehy really carries some of that film and makes a terrific adversary for Stallone who says very little in the film.First Blood
But Rocky II, Victory and Nighthawks are all very good flicks
Definitely my favorite after the Rocky movies. Overall his career has been a bucket of ####.Demolition Man, not even close either.

Rocky's ridiculous speech at the end of this is  So unfortunate. It almost ruins the entire movie.Rocky IV is on CMT.
He's had a lot of bad movies, but a lot of good ones, too. He's had at least on great movie in every decade since the 70s. Assuming he has a great one in the next few years. And I will forgive him almost anything just because he wrote Rocky.Definitely my favorite after the Rocky movies. He was brilliant in Cop Land. I thought he should have at least been nominated, if not won, best supporting actor.Copland?
Bite your tongue!I always loved this soundtrack, but it's quite dated now.
Such an underrated flick... Murder.Death.Kill, the sea-shells, cursing tickets, etc. so funnyDefinitely my favorite after the Rocky movies. Overall his career has been a bucket of ####.Demolition Man, not even close either.
Rocky 1 & 2 were all-time classics. Most of his roles after that were in less serious popcorn movies, action flicks, comedies, etc. The notable exception being Cop Land which was a very good movie and he was good in it. A handful of the rest were reasonably entertaining but hardly anything great, and a few like Cobra and Rocky 5 were egregious. Overall he's a lot closer to Steven Seagal than DeNiro or Pacino IMO. Iconic as an action star but also a bit of a punch line and a caricature. He's had a lot of bad movies, but a lot of good ones, too. He's had at least on great movie in every decade since the 70s. Jasmine?Assassins needs to be brought up. Mostly because of Antonio Banderas; he just steals the show.
