Homerism aside, which SB matchup would be the most fun to see?

I voted Falcons / Colts, but I also like the Bears / Colts def vs off.

Well, it's not fun to watch a great defense unless it goes like the '03 Super Bowl did.

I voted Falcons / Colts.

It is what it is said:
Patriots versus the Bears. The Joe Montana of today versus the best Defense to come along in many years. The clutch QB Tom Brady who has never lost a Super Bowl, against the Bears D would be the game of the year.
they play pretty soon.Chargers/Bears.

I could see a few arguments here.

Best offense vs. Best defense could break down into:

Bears vs. Broncos

Bears are #1 in points scored, Broncos are #2 in points allowed (Bears are #1)

Colts vs. Bears

Colts are #2 in total yards (Eagles are #1), Bears are #1 in points allowed

Chargers vs. Bears

Chargers are #2 in points scored, Bears are #1 in points allowed

Colts vs. Vikings

Minnesota is #1 in yards allowed

Chargers vs. Vikings

Minnesota is #1 in yards allowed

Personally, I'd want to see Colts vs. Bears. I think the Chargers are probably a more complete team than Indy and definitely have a better defense, but I'd enjoy watching Manning on the big stage. Bears are the class of the NFC.

yep, that's my choice as well.

Any vote other than Colts vs. Bears is nonsense right now.

Undefeated teams who go about it in opposite ways. :nobrainer:

it says which would be the most fun. Any game with the Bears predicated on their defense either a) would be boring if their defense is really that good, or would be a disappointment because they wouldn't be as good as advertised. For a FUN game, I'd love to see about a 75 point, back and forth game where Vick & Co. run circles around the Colts sorry excuse for a rush defense and in the end Manning and Indy were denied again.

Vikings vs Colts would be the most fun to watch.

However Bears/Colts seems the most deserving. My strong guess is that one or both of those teams will not advance to their conference championship game. Upsets happen to the best teams, too.

Come to think of it, Vikings/Bears vs Chargers in the SB would be fun, if not Colts,

Consider me a "no brainer" also for hoping to see an exciting game. Vick v. Tomlinson would be epic.

I voted Falcons/Chargers.

Seeing how Vick and LT were the two major incredients in that 2001 draft trade between these two teams the media would have a field day using that game as the barometer of who got the best of that trade.

True, that would be a fun game to watch, but the Bears are no longer simply a defensive team, they can move the ball with the best of them...I guess "exciting" is subjective, but count me as an NFL fan who loves watching the Bears play...not even close to "boring", imo...

They both got the best of the trade.

I voted for Bears-Indy. I would like to see how the Chicago defense matches up against Manning and Co. I think the Bears' running game would have its way with the Indy front 7, putting added pressure on the Colt offense to deliver.

I voted for this as well, but would be just as happy vs the Colts

Even better, maybe they just get rid of that AFC team all together and have a Bears Vs. Ditka Superbowl!! That would rule!Ummm... if they can't swing that, I'd love to see Chargers/Bears.
