Best trade you never made (1 Viewer)

I tried to get rid of Larry Johnson around week 7 last year for Ashley Lelie. Luckily for me, the other owner turned me down

Last year in my league, the trade was Larry Johnson, Torry Holt for Priest Holmes, Andre Johnson and Jamal Lewis around week 3. Needless to say, LJ and Torry took him to the promise land.

I was very weak at Running back last year having the 3rd pick (took Priest) and then C Pep in the 2nd and Harrison in the 3rd (I got excited he was still there and over reacted. Should have taken S Jax). Anyway I drafted T Jones and D Foster as well so after the draft I was bumming. I did land Steve Smith in the 7th round though.

I offered Harrison and T Jones for S Jackson and the guy turned me down. Im sure he was pissed at the end of the season. I would up 3rd in the league but could not ride out Priests injury as I stupidly chose Keith Bullock over L Johnson in the round I was contemplaying taking Johnson and lost him.

1999 pre draft -- wasn't going to keep Marvin Harrison in a 6 man keeper league. Offered him around for a 3rd round pick (essentially a 9th rounder in the format). no takers. Ended up keeping him anyway. Still have him.

No it wasn't. 4 player keeper league. I already had Alexander and Portis though and I had kept them both for the length of their careers. Since I felt rather confident in them as my Top 2 backs (only start 2) for the next couple of years even and LJ had done jack squat to that point, I didn't see the need to keep him on the bench. That was before Priest got injured and everything changed. I was obviously getting desperate for WR help and offered him to the Priest owner but he still wanted to get something out of Lelie. :bag:
