Best way to find a good deal on a trip to Ireland? (1 Viewer)

Reputable online site, or a Travel Agent?

Which is the safest way to go about this?

Any suggestions for Agents or websites greatly appreciated

For a group tour, or a DIY itinerary? I did a group tour a couple of years ago, and used a travel agent for flights and adding on time at the end.

It's my daughter and a friend of hers. They want some structured tours, but they also want some free time. She sent me this link but the reviews aren't real good.

CIE is pretty good for Ireland. I think they have some flexible tour packages. I toured with Globus, but that may be too structured an itinerary for them.

When we did this last summer I found that it was cheaper to just do it all myself. Flying into Shannon was a bit less than Dublin. The one thing that will catch you there is the car rental fees, in which they mandate the super cover insurance. It is best to pay for all that up front with an all inclusive rate. Unless you are going on a bus tour ( :X )
