Big Night for DeShaun Foster (1 Viewer)

TAMPA, Fla. - Defensive end Simeon Rice, linebacker Shelton Quarles and tackle Ellis Wyms will all miss Tampa Bay's game against the Carolina Panthers on Monday night because of injuries.

Rice (shoulder), Quarles (knee) and Wyms (ankle) had been listed as questionable on the injury report and didn't make the trip to Charlotte on Sunday.

Dewayne White will replace Rice, while second-year pro Barrett Ruud will make his third career start at middle linebacker in place of Quarles. Jon Bradley or Jovan Haye likely will fill in for Wyms, who became a starter when the Buccaneers traded Anthony McFarland to Indianapolis last month.

Hopefully we can get a 2TD 150 Total yard Performance from the Magic Man

I'm still hoping Diesel isn't crazy and Foster sits tonight so Williams can go nuts and carry me through in the Contest.

The way Foster has run this year and their feeble attempts to get him going in games, Tampa could start a girlscout squad on defense and Foster would still barely crack 40 rushing yards and 16 receiving yards. :wall: (Foster owner in a 32 team dynasty league with a 5 year contract on the loser)

Foster should have a good game tonight. Carolina has not been committed to run the ball this year. Foster YPC is about the same as Rudi Johnsons, but Rudi has way more carries.

I havent heard another word about Foster missing the game, so Im guessing the report was erroneous. We'll find out soon enough I suppose.

By Magic Man, I assume you mean Deangelo Williams. He'll get the bulk of work tonight. Nov. 13, 2006 = Deangelo Williams emergence as the feature RB for the Panthers. Foster won't get more than a handful of carries.

I don't really believe you in the first place.
I wasnt the one who heard it, it was from a friend, which is why i posted it here.

Foster 6 rushes for 14 yards. Yuck!!!!!!!!!!! Why don't they use him out of the backfield like Tiki?
Fox told Delhomme if he ever dumps off to the RB, he'll bench him. He wants Jake to go down the field and loosen up the running game that way. Also, looks like DWilliams starts the second half, so here we go! :drive:

Holy crap man. Stop pimping the kid until he actually shows something. He didn't start the game, he didn't start the second half, and he's probably not going to start a game at all this year.

Clearly, the Carolina line is not a great running line. All of the Foster sucks talk is ignoring the fact that noone is running behind that line.

:goodposting: H.K. goes two for two!Williams starts the second half with the kick return and as soon as Delhomme threw to Foster, Jake got pulled and they put in Kasay.

why do you people even bother responding to HK? he's never once been right about ANYTHING football related. It's schtick, pure and simple.

Big night! Huge! We're talking Ginormous!!!

But in all seriousness, TB's defense is still pretty stout this year, especially against the run.

Week1: Baltimore - 103 total rush yds

2: Atlanta - 306 total yds (1st anomaly)

3: Carolina - 101 total rush yds

4: bye

5: New Orleans - 146 total rush yds

6: Cincy - 53 total rush yds

7: Philly - 208 total rush yds (2nd anomaly)

8: Giants - 108 total rush yds

9: New Orleans - 49 total rush yds

Think about that, they shut down Rudi Johnson, Tiki Barber, and Deuce McCallister in the past 4 games. That sounds like pretty stout D to me!
