Bigger Stud This Year? (1 Viewer)

(Please don't take this as a WDIS because I am not asking that....I appreciate all help)

I am in a QB heavy performance league, where we get 1 pt. per reception and 1 pt./10 yds. passing. I have Manning and Favre. In years past, it would be a no-brainer to start Manning every week. But this year, based on my league scoring and the way Favre has been playing, he has actually outscored Manning week after week.

Every game this year I have started Manning, because of the "never bench your studs" theory. However, it actually cost me a huge game last week and now I am kicking myself.

So my question is, how does everyone else decide when to make a switch when you are in a similar situation as myself? I keep overthinking it too much, worrying that as soon as start Favre it is gonna be a huge mistake.

By not starting Favre, I have been hurting my team. So when is it time to make the switch? Is Favre the bigger stud right now?

Thanks for any responses.

Honestly at this point it's one of those things that really doesn't matter. Both should keep putting up decent points every week. Have you thought about putting them both up for trade and see who gets the better value in return from your league mates? One of those QB's may land you the extra player that will give you less headaches than wether to start 2 top 5 QB's.

I have both, and Manning gets the start every week (exception - against the Pats) without even thinking about it. It was just last year that Favre was throwing INT's like they going out of style. GB's running game is pretty shabby, and that will come back to haunt them sooner or later. One or two more big weeks and it's time to trade high on Favre.
