What do you guys see as the biggest / most interesting / most important questions for this upcoming season?

Steelers Repeat?

Palmer Rehab?

Brees in N.O.?

Culpepper in MIA?

Bush Rookie Year?

T.O. in DAL?

Shaun Alexander Repeat?

Steve Smith Repeat?

Rookie QBs?

1. Does Mike Martz wake up the Detroit Lions slumbering offense?

2. Do the improvements on the offensive line in Cleveland equate to a top 10 finish for Reuben Droughns?

3. What type of improvement is expected in the Jaguars passing game during the second year of OC Carl Smith's offensive scheme? Projections for Byron Leftwich?

Whether the refs will continue to call the hand-checking on WRs tight. Last year this led to some smaller WRs getting more open looks. It was a point of emphasis by the NFL last year, but will that continue?

Nobody seems to be talking about the Colts without Edge.

Will teams be able to drop 8 or better yet, pin their ears back and get to Peyton?

 
This may be too open-ended, but...

Who's stock has increased/decreased significantly because of free agency moves?

 
With the addition of K. Johnson and not having a big pounding RB will Carolina look to pass more often?

 
My top questions (that haven't yet been asked):

* How much better will Drew Bledsoe be with T.O. this year?

* Does Donovan McNabb return to form despite the injury history and T.O.'s departure?

* Will Aaron Brooks produce right away in Oakland?

* Will Ronnie Brown be a stud RB this year in Miami?

* Can DeShaun Foster carry the load in Carolina?

* Who will be the main RB in Denver, Tatum Bell or Ron Dayne? Or will it be a 50/50 split?

* Is this the year Reggie Wayne surpasses Marvin Harrison?

* Will Donte Stallworth be a stud receiver in New Orleans?

* Will Lee Evans be a stud receiver in Buffalo?

* Is Chris Cooley the next in line behind powerhouse fantasy tight ends Gates, Gonzalez, and Shockey?

* How much bigger can Heath Miller's numbers get this year in Pittsburgh?

* Can Kellen Winslow Jr. be my first string tight end this year?

Other than RB Reggie Bush (no guarantees either) what rookie (QB,RB,WR,TE) will have the biggest impact in 2006?

NO - offense with a number of issues... Deuce's recovery? Brees rehab? Will Horn return to form? New coach and system in place too... how and when will all these disparate things come together on the playing field?

 
What has and or will become of Randy Moss?

Do the Cowboys do enough to address their OL problems; manage TO and ride one horse (Jones or Barber) or will Parcells go with the hot hand?

While his Barlow and W. Green impression was spot on, can Kevin Jones do it for 16 more games?

What impact does A. Saunders have on the Skins offense?

Can the Patriots continue to succeed on offense with a patch work of players? (Testament to team leadership and Brady.)

How good is Mark Clayton about to be in Baltimore?

My most interesting question is how well will Chester Taylor do in Minnesota with Matt Birk back at center and Hutchinson added to mount McKinney. they also added the power Fullback blocker. Childress said he wanted to run more but Reid trumped him. I am interested to see how taylor can do as I think he is a talented guy. He is not on my fantasy teamsWill Deuce get back to his old self?

Will KJ finally break out?

NON fantasy, but will Pennington actually be a starting QB?

 
Will Portis be the next Saunder's coached superstud RB

Will Culpepper and Palmer play half of their team's games in 2006

Does Eli take another step closer towards his Bro's level

The Mia. RB situation,how does it play out

Does Alex Smith progress?

Assuming Smith does progress, who will be the 49er's #1 WR Bryant or Battle?

Gore or Barlow, which one will be Norv's RB?

Will Vick show progress as a passing QB?

Assuming Vick does, which Atl WR would be their #1, Jenkins or White?

Brooks projections for the Silver & Black?

Assuming health, was CPep just a beneficiary of Moss, or can he step his production back up? Leading to, will he "make" Chambers a viable #1 Fantasy WR?

Does Wilford emerge as Jax new #1 WR?

Can Reggie Brown be all that for the Eagles?

Phillip Rivers?

Which Eli do we see? The Eli in the beginning & middle of the last year? Or the Eli at the end of last year?

 
Most important question is, who will be the top sleeper picks and who should be avoided.

Will Matt Jones excel this year? Will Caddy repeat performance? Does TO get any susp. time with new team?haha

What moves should/shouldn't the Steelers make in order to be a top contender for the AFC?

Where does P.Manning rank on the cheat sheets this year?

Will Palmer come back full force?

Culpepper-does he play and when?

Let me echo the Phillip Rivers talk - it's dominated SoCal talk radio and message boards for the past two years. This is the BIG question in these parts.

 
A lot will be answered or questioned after the draft. Trying to avoid the draft.

Will Ricky win his appeal? If he does where does he end up playing?

How well will Rhodes step up to the task if Indy doesnt get a first round RB or trade for one?

Bell vs Dayne vs ?

If Minnesota drafts a first round RB, how much will Taylor be used?

Benson vs Thomas Jones?

How many carries will Bush get?

Is Foster worth the money?

Will Onterrio Smith fail another drug test? Who will?

Biggest questions for players at other positions...

Who will be this year's biggest impact breakout young stud wide receiver? Reggie Brown, Michael Jenkins, Michael Clayton, Koren Robinson, someone else?

Grossman vs Griese?

What's up with Javon Walker?

Mike Williams vs Charles Rogers as Detroit's number 2.

Who's Baltimore's starting QB?

Can Gates keep pace with Rivers at the helm?

Will Favre retire?

How healthy are Brees, Culpepper, and Palmer?

Is Andre Smith going to step up this year?

How will Vick look in the shotgun?

Which Eli Manning will we see?

Non fantasy related...

Will TO dance on the mid field star after his first TD in Dallas?

Will McNabb or other Eagles start squabbling in the locker room this year?

Are the Patriots going to miss the playoffs for the first time since their dynasty?

Will Randy Moss keep his mouth shut two years in a row?

Can anyone in the chargers passing attack be considered as a weekly play?

What can we expect out of Duece, Mcgahee, J lewis just to name a few who underperformed last year?

Will Galloway continue where he left off in 2005?

Heading into 2006 it looks like the top tier of QBs has dwindled down to Peyton and ???... Carson, C-Pep, Bulger injuries.. McNabb potentially falling back a bit, then the two most likely candidates being Hasselbeck, Brady and perhaps even Eli.

That being said, there is some outstanding potential for draft day bargains (and mistakes as well) at the QB position. So, my question is this..

After Peyton, Brady and Hasselbeck - the so-called safer bets - what QBs will represent outstanding draft day value and which ones will fall short of expectations.

I expect to see more variance in the Experts Polls and player rankings among the top 10 QBs than in the previous few years.

 
Culpepper. Does he or doesn't he play this year. That is the biggest question of them all.

Bigger question. Even if he does play, how effective can he be on a new team after rehabilitating all during the offseason?
 
Will Caddy get the goal line carries, thus perhaps elevating him to top 5-10 status (barring health, of course)?

What coaches will be looking like lame ducks waiting to be fired by Week 10?

How much of a difference will Al Saunders make in Washington?

Will the Eagles regroup and be competitive after the Owens and injury disasters of last year?

Will Denny Green stop underperforming, or stop being allowed to do so?

Will Ralph Wilson start having bake sales? ;)

Was 2005 a fluke or is Jacksonville actually a contender?
