Biggest non injury fantasy bust this season? (1 Viewer)

I would say anybody who missed at least 4 games should be eliminated from the discussion.

Thoughts?

I nominate Braylon Edwards.

Tomlinson, probably. He has 4 games with under 50 yards rushing and only 2 over 100. In addition, he's almost at 3.5 ypc. He's slipping to around RB15 in my league. That's awful for a RB that was picked 1.1 in most leagues.

Addai and Edge have to enter this equation. Edwards for sure amongst WRs, with (dis)honourable mentions for Santonio Holmes, Chad 85, and although he will end up missing more than 4 games, Plax has to be in this discussion too.

You're having a real hard time with the non injury part of the equation, aren't you?
 OK, only Palmer missed more than 4 games thanks to injury. McFadden missed exactly 4, I believe. I'm giving him a pass for the OP's parameters and calling him a bust anyway.Stay classy.

Biggest non injury fantasy bust this season?

EDIT: '5x champ' beat me to it
Chad Johnson has been playing with a shoulder injury all year.
But has he missed at least four games because of it?
That's debatable.

Good job making this into a semantics match about how badly they'd have to be injured to count. Well played thread derailment. :yucky:

Braylon Edwards is the first player I think of. No reason to put up this crappy of a performance all year. Plus all the dropped passes are the cherries on top.

 OP seemed to qualify "non-injury" with missing at least 4 games. Ironically, you were the one who started calling out alleged reading comprehension trouble, friend, not I.

Not the worst, but Cotchery has been disappointing.

Marc Bulger fell off the face of the earth, and Vince Young lost his job.

Jamal Lewis has been pitiful...basically the entire Brown offense.

ok to get this back on track a bit...How about Ryan Grant? How about TJ Houshmanzadeh?Willis Mcgahee?
Housh has had his moments. Was McGahee's because of injury? Maybe he did not miss as much time.Grant is certainly an option. Showed promise in the middle...but has been disappointing for a few weeks now too.

You listed Carson Palmer and then Darren McFadden. :bye:
Yep, my bad.Bulger and Grant were good additions. I might add Rudi Johnson to this list, too. I don't think anyone was expecting him to be a stud, but many were expecting him to return to be the bruising workhorse he was of yore when he started this year in Cinci.

Roy Williams - pretty much a no show at Detroit & Dallas

just to throw out a name i haven't heard mentioned - Big Ben had 30+ td's last year and only 15 or so this year, with more turnovers this year too. I think most probably realized last year was a fluke, but someone drafted him over manning in a TD heavy league i'm in.

Gore and Lynch have been underperforming 1st round picks. I'm on the fence about labeling them busts but they haven't been pretty.

Biggest bust hands down is Edwards. Nobody else is even close.

I think its Plaxico, forget the injury clause. What were your expectations of Gore and Lynch? I'm pretty happy with Lynch's performance, save a few weeks here and there. Both are better than they were last year.

Depends on your draft. If you had 1.1-1.3, LT is easily the champ here. Going mid-late 1st round and coming back w/Braylon killed you. And as a dark-horse I'll throw out TO. Too many weak games both yardage- and reception-wise.

My vote, no doubt, goes to Braylon.

Tomlinson at least has scored 9 TDs (compared to Edwards' 3), and he has about as many catches as Braylon.

I'm going with Addai. As usual he missed a few games, but even the 11 games he's played have been pretty ugly. He's only scored 10 points in 4 of those 11 games, and he's been outscored by Rhodes.

At least Tomlinson is out there playing every week and getting you double-digit scoring. LT's scored at least 10 points in 11 out of his 14 games. Not great, but there's no way that's the biggest bust of the season.

People naming Jamal Lewis, McGahee, Ocho. You're the busts. Even LT, there was no reason to think he would finish as a top 10 back. And expecting anything out of Lewis, McGahee or Edge is pure comedy...wake up. Sure if one of them is sitting around deep into the draft, but c'mon...to label them busts mean you had them projected early in the draft.
