Predictions?

Not just the player, but what signing is going to just shock the fans?

Something like Indianapolis signing Turner, the Giants signing Samuel, etc.

I think michael turner stands to be a big surprise wherever he goes. there are too many RBs in the draft and not many teams with great needs at that spot. I think there's a good chance he winds up in a 2 RB situation.

So let's guess and say..

Turner -> Bucs

Minnesota is this year's big spender(I'm a Bears fan so no homerism involved)

Derek Anderson: Minnesota(for 1st in 09' and 3rd in 08')

Marion Barber: New York Jets( for the sixth pick, New York gets pick 30 and Dallas' 3rd rounder as well)

Michael Turner: Seattle

D.J. Hackett: Oakland

Alge Crumpler: Jacksonville

Jason Brown: Minnesota(for 2009 2nd)

Justin Smith: Minnesota

Lance Briggs: Cincinnati

Asante Samuel: Dallas

Jeff George to The Bears

I did read a rumor somewhere on Jeff George. I do not expect any such activity, but if it happen I would be completely shocked.

Biggest surprise, IMO, would be Bernard Berrian to Seattle.
Per the Mpls Star Tribune............Bears free agent receiver Bernard Berrian appears to be the Vikings’ top target and he’s expected to be in town tomorrow to meet with club officials. Berrian is going to get big bucks and it’s likely either going to come from the Tennessee Titans or the Vikings. Last year, those teams battled for the services of Kevin Curtis and Curtis took his receiving skills to Philadelphia.

If I was Berrian, I would be wary of places like Chicago, Minnesota and Tennessee. Are these teams expecting him to correct their anemic passing game when the QB play may be the real problem? Raider fans were pretty quick to judge Moss for their offenses inability to produce. In the end, I expect Berrian like Curtis to take slightly less money if the situation is better career-wise.
