**Bills at Patriots**(+3.5, 36.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

A lot of nominees for worst game of the day, certainly the Bills will be resting everyone, imagine this game at about 10-6 in the 3rd

I think the Bills starters play about 3-4 drives. I don't think they fully rest anyone.

I think Josh Allen and James Cook probably both get a TD, before hitting the bench.

I think Hunter Henry racks up some catches in comeback mode, but ultimately, the Bills backups are probably as good as the Patriots starters.

Bills-21
Patriots-14

Bills are locked into the #2 seed in The AFC
Nothing to play for in this one
Pats could be looking at the #1 overall draft pick this April
So is that something to play for?
Or do you not play to get it
Either way...

Buffalo- 19
New England- 16

Patriots tumble out of number one pick. Bills rest quicker than expected. Score early TD and then coast to a loss.

Pats 12, Bills 7.

Pats lose-get the #1 pick-fire Mayo and Wolf...sadly that is the best-case scenario for Patriot fans the next few days...worst case is they win and keep Mayo and Wolf...if that happens you will have some Hall-of-Fame Sports Radio calls on the horizon.

Gotta hope that the Bills backups are better than NE's starters (who should be backups anyway).

I say Maye plays a half and keeps it close, but the wheels fall off with Milton in the 2nd half.

Bills 20
NE 16

Milton in after 1 series for Maye...not sure why you even play 1 series but nothing makes sense in Mayo-World.

Milton with a rushing TD and a legit backflip for a guy who is 6'5" and close to 250...he went 6 for 6 and actually looked good.

Just remember it’s pre season. But yes he looked very good on that drive. Good for him to get his first career TD on his first career drive.

Interesting that the Bills gave 2 goal line handoffs to Cook. I expected 3 passes to guys that haven’t had receiving TDs trying to set the record for most players with a receiving TD in NFL history. Seems like the Bills took a stab at trying to have Cook tie up Chase for the TD lead.

Who are those guys that are playing today? For science...

FB/TE Reggie Gilliam is by far the most likely IMO. After that we might be looking at an OT like Alec Anderson. Oh, and QB Mike White just lined up at WR. So there’s that.

Are the Patriots sitting their starters? Maye, in particular? And if so why?
Well there's this thing called the NFL draft you see and...
That's not typically a thing teams do, is it? Or have I not been paying attention and this has been happening before? I thought you were forced by "ethics" to play your guys.

Milton 100% should be playing...the only thing that could make this season worse is Maye getting hurt and it makes a ton of sense to see what you have in Milton and whether he has a chance to be Maye's future backup.

So is that particular to the final week only? Why not keep Maye healthy and see what you have in Milton the whole time after you're eliminated?

Interesting stuff. Saw his odds pretty good this morning too, but can see a +650 out there.

Suppose you could also get a throwback to Mitch as well.

Why would you do that other then the final week when you are eliminated?

I'm saying after you're eliminated. The whole time. Why risk Maye's health or any starters' health ever after you're eliminated?

Because that would be foolish.

Okay. Week 18 is a magical exception.

You need Maye to get actual NFL playing time experience so you don't bench him in week 14.
