Bills vs. Ravens wk#17 (1 Viewer)

The game is moved to 4:15 according to the blogger with http://www.billsdaily.com/ as the source.

I'm thrilled with this news because I have to go to a family reunion of non-football fans at noon and I am a Ravens fan.

What strikes me as very odd about this is the way it is reported. The part about the game meaning very little for either team is just not true at all. The Ravens need this win to assure a first round bye. They are also playing for home field advantage throughout.

This seems like some really sloppy reporting to me. I don't know why the game was moved but I'm sure it's not because the game doesn't mean anything.

I think you'll find reporting is sloppy everywhere, and not just sports, but in business and politics as well.I tihnk you'll agree after seeing an article like this that you have a skeptical eye towards the media in general. This is because you understand how the playoff system works. You can see the mistakes they are making.

Take that into consideration the next time you read an article about, say, George W. Bush or John Kerry. Don't just take an article as gospel because you read it, no matter the source.

I think you should find a different family to be a part of. If the game hadn't been moved, you'd be in a real pickle.
I've been bargaining my way out of this thing for weeks. I did have permission from the wife not to go but I know she really didn't mean it. You know the saying.... " You can pick your friends but you can't pick your relatives."

BillsDaily isn't exactly a recommended source for great reporting or info, IMO.
