Derrick Blaylock will probably play on third downs this week, according to the Newark Star-Ledger. He missed Thursday's practice so he could be with his pregnant wife; meanwhile, Kevan Barlow took the first string reps.

So probably out due to his wife then. Will Ced Houston get any significant carries in his place? That might be the difference between Barlow putting up some numbers and staying at his current level (of sucky) production.
