Panthers WR Steve Smith (hamstring) did a little running and catching Wednesday, but remains listed as questionable on the first injury report of the week. All his action came on the side, as he didn't practice fully.
It's interesting in that it's the first time he's come outside since his Week 1 injury.
SS Shaun Williams (foot) was down as doubtful, and stayed inside.
Among the questionable players, WR Drew Carter (finger) was the only one to practice, as C Justin Hartwig (groin), CB Ken Lucas (neck) and RB Nick Goings (thigh) were also held out.
LB Dan Morgan (concussion) is ag
