Is it just me? Seems like there have been a huge number of blowout games this year. It's almost like, once a team starts to get a significant lead the game just gets out of control. Could that be because of the new "receiver friendly" rules? So my questions are:
Am I imagining things?
Is this good for football?
Is this good for fantasy football?
And maybe most importantly, HERE... if what I'm seeing is real, how do you factor this trend into your strategy and player evaluations? Does this make the beneficiaries of these games... mostly QBs and WRs I'm thinking (although Lynch was playing against me last night... ugghhh)... more valuable than they have been, going foward?
