Adam Lind vs Travis Snider

Who has more upside?

This year? Long term?

How much PT can each expect this year?

I am trying to decide between one of them or Spilborghs from COL. Ideally I'd wouldn't mind all three. Realistically I might get one or two. Who is the best to have?

Isnt Snider considered one of the top 5 prospects in baseball? Lind is nothing more than a DH type.
Originally I targetted Lind because of the DH role figuring he'd get more ABs...but long term Snider seems the better choice. I have a feeling if I take one the other will be snatched up...so I guess Snider would be the better to have long term...right? I am late enough in the draft that I coudl essentially lock either one of them up for at least the next 4-5 years.

It took Lind three tries to establish himself in the bigs. He showed enough last year to be guaranteed a spot but I don't think he's anything special as a fantasy hitter, especially in the power department. Medium power and no speed isn't great for a guy with OF & UT eligibility.

Snider has more HR upside but has to control his strikeouts to avoid being a negative in AVG this year.

I like Spilborghs as a sleeper this year but Dexter Fowler could replace him by the end of the season

Thaks for the input, I wound up taking Spilborghs for this year, and picking up Snider for long term. Lind was still available on my next pick but I gave up on the idea of rostering him and took Kubel instead.I appreciate the insight.

Well done on all accounts.Spilboroghs is a bargain for this year (roto, anyway), Snider's the long term guy, and Kubel > Lind this year.

Gaston likes Lind, he brought him up to the Bigs almost immedaitely when he got the job. Having said that, Snider is the best prospect that Jays have had in a looooooong time. His long term value is definitely higher than that of Lind's. For this year Lind is probably the safer pick because he'll stay in the bigs no matter how cold he gets. Snider will most likely see some time in AAA this year.
