I'm not a huge "indie" film fan, but went to this after I watched the trailer. It's dubbed a "classic American revenge story". While not necessarily breaking any new ground in terms of story, it is fantastically tense, well-acted, and just an overall good movie. It looks like it's been selected/awarded at several film festivals.

If you're not into the 15th regurgitation of Godzilla or Spiderman, grab a couple of drinks and go check this out. It's definitely entertaining.

Saw this tonight. Started off strong, and the cinematography was great, but the plot got too disjointed and unrealistic. It should have been paced like "in the bedroom" where you get to know more about the original killer and the revenge killing happens at the end of the movie. The twist where the son takes the fall for his dying father's crime was just stupid. If anything, it would happen the other way around. Still, good rental.

Sweet! Now I don't have to watch it.

It's really not a twist movie but maybe I should have used spoilers. The only thing you might not now when watching is what happens at the end which I did not give away.
