Current standings: 3rd overall

Batting: 7, 8, 6, 5, 4

Pitching: 10, 5, 5, 10, 7

My waiver claim came through on BJ Upton, dropping Cozart.

Current roster:

C E Gattis

1B E Encarnacion

2B J Kipnis

3B A Beltre

SS D Espinosa

OF A McCutchen, C Davis, A Jones

Util A Jackson

Bench J Willingham, C Ruiz, BJ Upton

SP A Wainwright, RA Dickey, M Scherzer

RP J Grilli, G Balfour

P R Cook, J Peralta, J Tazawa, K Herrera

Bench T Cingrani, M Estrada, W Miley

Dropped K Herrera and picked up Y Betancourt.

Dropped R Cook and picked up T Rosenthal. Cook and Balfour haven't had a NSVH over the past 14 days. I chose to drop Cook due to him having a higher ERA over that same time span.

Current standings: 4th overall

Batting: 6, 6.5, 5, 7, 3

Pitching: 10, 4, 5, 8.5, 8

Recent moves:

Dropped Miley and picked up S Feldman for Feldman's start last night, then dropped him for K Slowey.

C E Gattis

1B E Encarnacion

2B J Kipnis

3B A Beltre

SS D Espinosa

OF C Davis, A Jones, A McCutchen

Util J Willingham

Bench A Jackson, Y Betancourt, BJ Upton

SP A Wainwright, M Scherzer, R Dempster

RP J Grilli, G Balfour

P J Peralta, J Tazawa, T Rosenthal, T Cingrani

Bench H Kuroda, K Slowey, RA Dickey

Still holding onto BJ Upton, but for how long?

Current standings: still 4th overall

Batting (R, HR, RBI, SB, OPS): 7, 8, 7.5, 5, 5

Pitching (K, ERA, WHIP, QS, NSVH): 10, 2, 3, 8.5, 8

Recent moves: moved A Jackson to DL, and picked up H Santiago. Used him for 1 start, then dropped him for S LeCure.

Current roster:

C E Gattis

1B E Encarnacion

2B J Kipnis

3B A Beltre

SS A Simmons

OF A McCutchen, A Jones, C Davis

Util J Willingham

Bench Y Betancourt, BJ Upton

DL A Jackson

SP A Wainwright, M Scherzer, T Cingrani

RP J Grilli, G Balfour

P J Peralta, J Tazawa, T Rosenthal, S LeCure

Bench H Kuroda, R Dempster, K Slowey, RA Dickey

Happy with the offense, could use some help in the SB category. OPS is what it is, not really starting or benching, or considering add/drop based on OPS.

Doing decent in pitching (K/9 are still above 9), but I'm hurting in the ERA and WHIP categories. Still throwing every SP out there for every one of their starts, so I need to scale back some. I'm projected to be +86 IP.

Current standings: 2nd overall

Batting (R, HR, RBI, SB, OPS): 8, 8.5, 8, 7.5, 5

Pitching (K, ERA, WHIP, QS, NSVH): 10, 3, 6, 7, 8.5

Recent move: Dropped BJ Upton and picked up A Dunn

Current roster:

C E Gattis

1B E Encarnacion

2B J Kipnis

3B A Beltre

SS J Peralta

OF A Jones, C Davis, A McCutchen

Util A Dunn

Bench J Willingham, J Hardy, C Carter

DL A Jackson, A Pierzynski

SP A Wainwright, M Scherzer, RA Dickey

RP J Grilli, G Balfour

P J Peralta, J Tazawa, T Rosenthal, S LeCure

Bench K Uehara, H Kuroda, R Dempster

Dropped Tazawa and picked up D Smyly (SP, RP). I'll put him in at an SP-slot in an effort to cut down on my IPs.

Dropped C Carter and picked up K Gausman, in contradiction to my previous move. But my hope is that he'll have a 2-3 good outings, and then I can trade him away.

Dropped JJ Hardy to make room for Pierzynski coming off the DL.

Dropped S LeCure and picked up R Brothers. K/9 and NSVH were similar, but ERA and WHIP are slightly better. Hopefully he racks up some saves, then I can trade him away. This league perceives Closers as having way more value than middle RPs, but 11 of the top 25 NSVH guys are middle RPs.

Current standings: tied for 1st

Batting (R, HR, RBI, SB, OPS): 8, 10, 9, 8, 9

Pitching (K, ERA, WHIP, QS, NSVH): 10, 4, 4, 7.5, 10

Current roster:

C E Gattis

1B E Encarnacion

2B J Kipnis

3B A Beltre

SS J Peralta

OF C Davis, A Jones, A McCutchen

Util J Willingham

Bench A Dunn, A Pierzynski

DL A Jackson

SP A Wainwright, M Scherzer, D Smyly

RP J Grilli, G Balfour

P J Peralta, T Rosenthal, K Uehara, R Brothers

Bench R Dickey, K Gausman, H Ryu, H Kuroda

Obviously very happy with being in first place (tied), but concerned about Ks and QS as I am projected to be +101.1 IP. Need to make every inning count and keep the K/9 as high as possible.

Current standings: 1st overall

Batting (R, HR, RBI, SB, OPS): 8, 10, 9, 7.5, 9

Pitching (K, ERA, WHIP, QS, NSVH): 10, 4, 6, 8, 10

Current roster:

C E Gattis

1B E Encarnacion

2B J Kipnis

3B A Beltre

SS J Peralta

OF C Davis, A Jones, A McCutchen

Util E Andrus

Bench A Dunn, A Pierzynski

DL A Jackson

SP A Wainwright, M Scherzer, J Shields

RP J Grilli, G Balfour

P J Peralta, K Uehara, J McGee, R Ross

Bench H Ryu, D Smyly, R Brothers, R Dickey

Ended up rejecting Holliday for Shields. I'm solid in Batting stats and with being way over on my IPs, I want to hold on to my high K/9 SPs.

Trying to: increase QS, increase K/9, and slow down on IP. I have a surplus of NSVH.

So, I traded away G Balfour for H Bailey. I'm shopping H Ryu.

I understand that. I prefaced that towards the beginning of this thread. It's something for me to look back on, to see where I made mistakes, where I made good moves, etc. If you don't like it, don't read it.
