Interesting Look

There have been a few people asking for something like this. I tried to blend some reality in so it would be believable. Hope you enjoy it.

Almost better than the Heavy Metal youtube post from February.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some of these crazy rankings to actually be correct.

:goodposting:

SA at #118 :link:

Although I am hoping Parker or Addai fall to me at #8...I won't be showing this to any of my sucker leaguemates drafting at #5-7...

Travis Henry - "Broncos prefer to pass for TDs"

*dies laughing*

Really, some things should not be read during work hours!

Some of my favorites:

#38 Larry Johnson - Priest Holmes is finally healthy again

#31 Torry Holt - Slipping with the Rams turning to the run

#11 Thomas Jones - Left Chicago to be the man

It sounds as if most of these quotes were actually taken from comments made in the forum in different threads. I have heard many of these comments before, and thats what makes them so believeable. For Travis Henry, the comment should have been: "Skeletor ALWAYS relies on the RBBC. Will get some yards but not the TDs".And as far as being shady for bringing it to the draft, I wouldn't necessarily hand it out, but maybe have it lying around and "easily accessible". If they peak, its THEM who's being shady....

Oh, I'm definitely bringing this to my draft. The hard part is going to be not laughing when someone inevitably steals my "cheat sheet."

My favorites:

32. Reuben Droughns - He is taking over for Barber

82. Corey Dillon - Will sign with Browns when Lewis retires

127. Mike Williams - Going back to his USC roots

175. Mike Nugent - Looking at the 3rd-year PK rule here

it could also be fun to have it at your draft, "let" knowledgeable drafters see, and try to convince them that you'll be using it as the bible for our own draft.

For those bringing to their drafts, you have to highlight some comments, jot things all over it in red pen, etc. This needs to look like you have been studying it for weeks.

simply draw a red line throught the players that are bye week conflicts with your keepers (i foyu're in a keeper league) or put "notes" in the margins and highlight certain players that you plan to target!ETA: David, you beat me to it!

well, nice touch, both of you.

This has potential guys...

I'm thinking the best way to do it is to just have a stack of these printed out and they're laying on a table. Nobody knows where they came from, but they'll grab them anyway.

57 TE Jeremy Shockey NYG/9 Ready to replace Barber

:boxing:

Does that mean he'll be lining up in the backfield?

:lmao: :lmao:

I was actually in a draft a couple years ago and one guy asked me to help him choose between two players. He shows me his cheat sheet and has two/three other sheets underneath and one of them is MINE!!!! He worked in the office next to me and we shared a printer. He scarfed it from the printer and brings it to the draft! I call him on it and he admits doing it, but then claims he was only using it to help him do his own rankings. Lesson Learned. Protect your info. If he still worked in the office next to me, I'd surely print one and "accidentally" forget to pick it up one evening when I was leaving. But we don't work at the same place anymore.

Yall may want to claim the "topfantasyexperts.com" address before someone else does...and have it point to blackeyedjoe.com!

17 RB Fred Taylor Jac/4 Few realize that he is still the starter 22 RB Brian Westbrook Phi/5 Surprisingly worse with McNabb playing 44 RB Willis McGahee Bal/8 Hard to rank lower, but we hate him

This is hysterical. I am taking it, but won't hand it out. If they look, fine.

This is almost good enough to be subscriber-only content.

In my work league, at least one person invariably forgets their cheatsheet every year. I might have to bring this and give it to the lucky person.

Steve McNair "This team is loaded with receivers"

Washington Redskins - "Finally spending money on defense"

Jeff Garcia - "Good handcuff to Culpepper"

:goodposting:

Quality.

This would be better if you lost the joe face.

There was one guy in my league who walked in and saw a joe face on my screen and searched the web till he found the logo and signed up here. I still finished ahead of him but I don't need any additional people from my office money league scouring this site. :goodposting:

I always bring in a magazine from last year or the year before for this exact reason. They typically don't figure it out right away (make sure LT, LJ, or Peyton is on the cover).

One thing that must be emphasized though - for this strategy to work, you MUST take the top-rated guy left on the list every time it's your turn to draft, otherwise the peekers will smell a rat and wonder why you're not being true to your list. It might be tempting to take Gore or Larry Johnson in the first, but if (for instance) Portis, Edge or Julius Jones are still available, you MUST take them or this strategy flat out won't work.

34 WR Chris Chambers Mia/9 Finally has a great QB in Green

76 RB Dominic Rhodes Oak/5 Will be the starter after suspension ends :lmao:

84 DT Chicago Bears Chi/9 We're concerned but can't drop them lower

85 WR Deion Branch Sea/8 We're not impressed

Nice work guys...
