Bold draft predictions (1 Viewer)

Not bold, but...

1. The Pats draft Dez Bryant in the first.

2. The Pats make a deal with the Jags in the second round so the Jags can draft Tebow. The Pats get the Jags 2011 second.

3. The Pats draft a TE in the second.

Skins trade McNabb and Haynesworth to Rams for 1.01 and take Bradford, then take Trent Williams at 1.04.

Denver takes Maurkice Pouncey at #11, even with Dez and McClain still on the board. Center is the biggest hole on this team and Pouncey is as safe a stud as there is in the draft. McClain may or may not be a 3 down player in the NFL, and we've heard all of the issues with Dez going to Denver, but Pouncey fills the biggest need and fills it with All-Pro potential.

Dallas Cowboys draft Dez Bryant, even if it means trading up, after missing out on Jerry Rice and Randy Moss in the past

Random thoughts:

1) Jacksonville doubles back and takes Tebow in the 1st after all (without trading down).

2) Denver snickers as they've succeeded in head-faking the Jags into taking him. Grab CJ Spiller

3) Almost impossible to think I can nail this 2-years in a row. (and in this case Walterfootball.com went first) - my Bengals draft a kicker in round 6.

3a) It's not Tiffin, it's the kid out of Tarleton State

4) Bengals draft Dorin Dickinson in Round 2. If he's gone, then they wait until round 3 for a TE. They DO NOT draft Gresham.

5) Raiders comically go with Iupati at #8.

6) Bulaga slides into the teens.

7) Bengals prayers for Earl Thomas are not answered. They don't move up. They don't move back. Mays goes there as expected. I will say though that if a team is hot to trot for the 21st pick and they don't have to slide back too far, the Bengals could move down.

8) Clausen's freefall looks complete. Until the Niners break it at #17.

9) Bengals take Dan LeFevour at the end of round 4 as a long term project QB.

10) None of the would be "big trades" happen at the top of round 1. At least 3 trades happen between rounds 1 and 2 though.

My wife is going to call me from her business trip to see whether I put primer on the bathroom walls (I only had 10 days to do it) right as the Jets are picking.

Oakland and Pittsburg swap 1st round picks and Big Ben and Asmouaga or however you spell it. Oakland then takes Kyle Wilson CB at 18.

EDA: Pitt takes Clausen at #8

Colt McCoy, Demaryius Thomas and Golden Tate all go in the 1st

Marcus Easley is drafted by pick #75

Joe Webb doesn't make it past the very early 4th

Lonyae Miller is drafted in the first 100 picks

Anthony Dixon isn't drafted until the 5th or later

Cowboys trade their first pick in 2011+other picks for a spot to take:

One of Earl Bennett/Dez Bryant

and

At 27 one of Pouncey, Odrick, Iupati.

Mays falls out of the first round.

Dez is not the first WR drafted.

Record number of first round trades is set this year.

Wilson, Mathews and Spiller all off the board when the texans pick. Texans trade back four spots with the Eagles. Eagles take Mays at 1.20 and the Texans take McCourty at 1.24

Best to SD in the first.
