Run It Up

Footballguy
Normally this time of year there is a bold predictions thread, with regular season right around the corner I figured id step up, post your own - bookmark and comeback in 5 months, or discuss I dont really care I just wanna read them:

-Bills finish second in their division, win at least 9 games

-Fred Jackson and Stevie Johnson both finish top 10 at their positions

-Jets finish last in their division

-Both NFC Wildcards will come out of the North, Neither of them will be the Lions

-Chargers finish this season in the top 16 for rushing offense, Mathews doesnt finish the starter

-Chiefs contend for third in their division

-The Ravens(flacco) fail to transition into a faster paced offense, Ray Rice approaches 425 touches and finishes RB1 (not so bold)

-The Titans finish #1 in the south

-MJD puts up 1.3k rushing

-No team in the NFC west will win more than 9 games, sorry niners

*AFC North places three teams in playoffs.

* Holmes & Sanchez fix their chemistry and Holmes finishes top 15 in ppr.

* Jeremy Maclin outscores Desean Jackson

* Gabbert vastly improves and has range of 3200 - 3600 with 22 - 25 total tds and less than 16 ints. Jags win 6 games this year and are competitive.

* Andre Johnson & not Calvin is top wr this year.

* Dwayne Allen scores more fps than Fleener.

* DMAC top 3

* Chargers def top 10 & Melvin Ingram wins droy

A Pats TE and Jimmy Graham are once again the top 2 TE's but it's Hernandez, not Gronk

Eric Decker is a top 5 WR

Kendall Hunter is a top 10 RB

Wes Welker falls out of the WR top 20

Russell Wilson is indeed for real and ends up as a solid low-end QB1

Dexter McCluster ends up as a solid flex/WR3

Stevan Ridley goes 1200yd rush/ 12TDs

Although it's only been done twice before (Craig & Faulk) both Arian Foster and Ray Rice go for 1000yd rush / 1000yd rec

1) Antonio Brown is a top 5 WR in PPR

2) David Wilson outperforms his ADP BIG TIME.

3) Eric Decker plays in a max of 10 games

4) Antonio Gates is a top 2 TE in PPR this year

5) James Jones is traded to the Miami Dolphins and hauls in 70 balls and 7 TD's

6) Victor Cruz was no fluke in 2011 and finishes a top 5 PPR WR with 90 receptions 1400 yards and 12 TD's

7) Jamal Charles bounces back to elite numbers and is a top 5 PPR RB

8) Calvin Johnson breaks the Madden Curse

9) Lamar Miller emerges by week 8 as a major contributor for the Miami Dolphins offense

10) Evan Royster takes the bull by the horn as the lead Washington RB on first and second down. Helu is a primary third down back and Alfred Morris ends up being depth, Hightower fades and has complications with his recovery from major knee surgery

11) Cam Newton has an even better year 2 and does not suffer from the "Sophmore" slump

12) DeAngelo Williams returns to the top 10 RB's this season.

13) Brandon Lloyd is all hype and is a non factor in fantasy football

14) Jared Cook has the breakout year we have all been waiting for

15) Ravens vs Packers in the Super Bowl

Cincy is at the top of the standings heading into the bye, but finishes under .500

Vick Ballard is a dependable RB2 by the end of the year

Philly, Pittsburgh, Dallas, and Detroit all miss the playoffs due to the divisional record tie-breaker

Seattle has one of the top 5 defenses in the league

Norv Turner is fired before the end of the season

Deion Sanders takes Kenny Britt under his wing as a project

Ok, maybe not all of them are especially bold...

mike wlliams is a top 20 wr

mercedes lewis is a top 10 te

stafford misses games via injury

stafford and cam take big steps back this year

no qb throws for 5000+ yards

royster wins job and produces at a ff rb1 level. becomes the unquestioned long term starter.

Perhaps not bold enough.

Any statement saying Washington will have a "go to" back is pretty bold, in my opinion. -Seahawks will win at least 10 games-Aaron Hernandez will be the top ranked TE at the end of the season-Peyton Manning will play a full season(and be a top5QB), as well as Darren McFadden-The Jets will go 1-16 Tebow and/or Sanchez will not start for them next year-Peyton Hillis will be a top 10 RB

That and Locker finishing in the top 10 were the ones that stuck out to me, everything else just seemed like an inevitability.

-I think Luck has a big year and the Colts sneak into the playoffs. Reggie Wayne, Austin Collie and Dwayne Allen all exceed expectations.

-Trent Richardson reminds everyone why he was the 3rd overall pick with a huge 2nd half run to end the season.

-Jimmy Graham beats his 2011 #s and has the best TE fantasy season ever.

-Raiders fans are calling for Terrelle Pryor to start by week 15 after Carson Palmer throws 2 INTs almost every week.

-Antonio Brown scores 10 TDs after only grabbing 2 last season.

John Skeleton ends the season a top 10 QB. I saw him put decent numbers up against the Niners and was fairly impressed.

One for each position in a standard lineup:

QB: Ryan Fitzpatrick outscores Phillip Rivers

RB: Pierre Thomas is the most productive Saints RB

RB: Frank Gore finishes outside the top 30 RBs

WR: Percy Harvin gets more rushing + receiving yards than any other receiver

WR: Braylon Edwards gets 900+ yards and 7+ TDs

WR: Dez Bryant gets 12 TDs and 1200 yards

TE: Antonio Gates is the #2 TE behind only Jimmy Graham (since that's not really bold I'll also go with Heath Miller being a top 12 TE)

D/ST: Arizona's finishes top 5

K: Alex Henery is the #1 kicker. David Akers gets injured.

Braylon? or Sidney?? are you assuming Sidney gets hurt, or Braylon becomes the go to guy? or are you saying russell wilson will be such a good QB he can support two WR1-2s?

Okay, here goes:

Robert Griffin III wins the Offensive Rookie of the Year

Pittsburgh Steelers fail to make the playoffs

Phillip Rivers leads the NFL in passing yards

Greg Jennings leads the NFL in receiving yards

Percy Harvin leads the NFL in total yards from scrimmage

Stevan Ridley rushes for 1200 yards and 12 TDs

The Jets go 5-11, Rex gets canned

Ok here goes nothing....

Cam Newton is the #1 fantasy QB by a healthy margin

The NFC West goes down to the last week of the season with San Francisco,Arizona and Seattle all with a shot at the division title.

Jason Garrett and Norv Turner don't last the season

Terrell Pryor and Tim Tebow will start at QB in a playoff game..

Peyton Manning starts off slow, but has a monster 2nd half..

Ray Rice goes over 2000 yards rushing and threaten Dickerson's record.

The Detroit Lions go to the SuperBowl

im going for mass accuracy :boxing:

•Cedric Benson breaks 1000 yards.

•Randy Moss goes 75/1000/10

•Frank Gore breaks 1500 total yards

•Alex Smith finishes ahead of Cam Newton

•Michael Vick starts 16 games

I would love the Niners to do this well. Also, Vick starting 16 games may be the boldest prediction in here.

Andre Johnson finishes the #2 wr (doesn't seem that bold to me but the way some people seem to look at it this is)

Antonio Gates finishes #2 at TE behind Graham

Peyton Hillis and Jamaal Charles score a similar amount of fantasy points, both finish around the top 15 in ppr

Percy Harvin is near the top 5 at wr

Julio Jones proves over hyped, finishes with good but not great numbers, is out out scored by Roddy White again in PPR

Marshawn Lynch is a big bust

Doug Martin is a top 10 ppr back

Colts surprise everybody and make the playoffs with 9 wins - Luck is as advertised and has a better rookie year than Cam did

Run DMC plays 14 games....and still finishes as #1 RB

Even Megatron cant get away from the Madden Curse

Julio Jones finishes as the #1 WR

Jonathon Dwyer finishes as top 10 RB

Bradshaw goes down and David Wilson has a huge second half

RG3 turns out to be a flop - more ints than Tds and misses 6 games due to injury

Blackmon catches 10 tds

Demarco Murray finishes #3 RB behind DMC and Foster

Randy Moss is done

With Wilson, Braylon ressurects his carreer - 1300 yards and 11 tds

Vick misses 4 games and leaves multiple others with injury - BIG SURPRISE!

Austin scores more than Bryant

Baldwin scores more than Bowe

Brown scores more than Wallace

Dem. Thomas starts slow but Blows up in the 2nd half

MJD holdsout til week 10

Turner only rushes for 800 yards but has 14 tds

REFs never sign a deal and the replacements are a joke the entire year!

HOU vs DEN for AFC Championship - DEN wins

GB vs DAL for NFC Championship - DAL wins

Den wins SB

wait forgot a few more...

J Stew is hurt all year and Deangelo blows up

Steven Jackson is a beast and threatens top 5

Russell Wilson out produces all rookie QB's

Jared Cook scores 10 td's

The law firm Ben Jarvis Green-Ellis stays healthy & finishes in the top 10

Peyton Hillis scores more td's than Charles

The Dez Bryant babysitting experiment works and he leads all WR's with 18 td's

On a last minute TD toss to Randy Moss from Alex Smith the 49ers beat the Packers in week 1 32-31

Dwayne Bowe catches 4 TD passes in the Superdome against the Saints in week 3

49ers win the NFC and beat the Patriots in the Superbowl. Harbaugh coach of the year
