Looks like Q will play, but may be on a limited snap count and against a very good pass def. Is he worth the start given those odds?

I don't have much choice in one league, it's either he or Breaston, but in another I could start Avery or Floyd.

As of now, I'm going to say I start him over both Avery and Floyd. Not that I think it's a good decision really, but I just love rooting for this guy.

What's everyone else doing?

Right above your topic was already a topic on this.

I really think he is a sit this week, I see a Colston like performance from last week.

Per Espn: News: " Boldin's (head) snaps may be limited on Sunday, the Arizona Republic reports." "I don't think you want to throw 'Q' in there and play him 70 snaps or 60 snaps in the game," head coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "But you know 'Q' - we're probably going to have to run out there and physically grab him off the field."

Panther Homer here, so this may be a bit bias. The Panthers have a great secondary and I just don't see Bolding being that effective. I want to see him play a game to see how he looks before plugging him back into my lineup. I'm rolling the dice and replacing him with Josh Morgan this weekend. This is sure to come back and bite me in the A**.

And a gambler you are..Morgan is hurt too.

I almost gave up this hobby after watching that hit. I need to see how he does this week before I plug him back in the lineup.

The #1 WR before his injury, I will plug in "Bolding" unless you are in one of those shallow leagues, Panther D is tough though.

Im sitting him....not sure about his work load that he'll get.

Picked up A. Bryant off WW cause B. Marshall is on bye...

So

Bryant and Wayne for me this week!

I'm forced to start Boldin this week since Holmes got caught puffing celery.
I was stacked at receiver - steve smith, brandon marshall, greg jennings, anquan boldin and santonio holmes. (8 team league). Marshall and jennings on bye, boldin's face is broken and holmes took part in the wacky tobacky. what a turn of events.

I already have Jennings on by so have to put Mushin in his spot. Debating on starting L. Moore or Bolding this week.

My gut tells me Boldin gets in the endzone this weekend for a score to prove he is back.

Food for Thought-----

Warner feels guilty for putting Boldin in that position....Look for Warner to make it up to him by helping his stats for the market....In the Redzone here on out, Boldin is the man...... Fitz is a team player and I'm sure he'll even want Boldin to get more. Wiz will not stand in Q's way!!!

Starting him, cuz if he is on my squad and he's on that field, He is always leathal! :excited:

Plus a HUGE Q fan, aquired him and Ronnie Brown all I had to give up was Ocho and Maroney right before week 2

I am leaning towards sitting him, even though I agree he could have a decent game. Just don't like the match-up at CAR, especially because they shut down the Saints passing game last week. I don't have great options (Holt, Camarillo or Cotchery) but I feel like if Q can prove he's back, I'll be able to start him without fears the rest of the year.

Curious at who other are starting him over/benching him for.

Living in AZ I've heard/read/seen reports about Q ad nauseum. Gonna be a lotta folks wishing they'd have started him after tomorrow.

so apparently you think he's gonna go off. why?
Because he wants to as much as anything.Local Radio Show on Monday (before he'd been medically cleared) Bert Berry asked him if there was any possible way he wasn't gonna go this week. 'Quan said no in a heartbeat. Not only (IMO I'll grant) does he want back on the field, but he wants to show that that hit means squat to him. All the talk of limited snaps aside if the game's in doubt (and I think it will be) Whis will want his best guys out there trying to move the chains.Anquan Boldin is the best he's got.

Maybe not?
Breaston's been solid in his absence, but I really hope you're not imlpying that's he's anywhere near the WR that Boldin is. If I had to choose between Fitz and Boldin to build a WR corps around it would be Boldin, it's not that close, and this is coming from someone who's seen A LOT of Cardinals' games.I still feel dirty,

Boldin does a great job of keeping the ball away from Fitzgerald. ala Wes Welker to Randy Moss. In no way is Boldin BETTER than Fitzgerald.

I think the edge goes to Fitz slightly for being the better receiver, but not by much at all. Hopefully you're not comparing Welker to Boldin because that is laughable, it's not even close.

Sitting him for Muhammad. I'm in a dog-fight & can't afford to take the chance that he may be extremely limited. Plus, I just don't think the Cards are going to do much against Carolina. I like Mushin going the other way better.

Rotoworld . . .

Anquan Boldin "won't be limited" Sunday against the Panthers, according to FoxSports.com.

It's uncertain if that means his snap count will be normal or whether he'll just be his usual self when he's out there. Often when a superstar gets on the field, his coach ignores any snap count. Boldin was the top-ranked fantasy wideout when he got hurt; we'd play him as a WR2 regardless.

I'm starting Q over Muhammad and Breaston.

For what it is worth. Coach Whisenhunt(Is that how you spell his name?) said in an interview on the Endzone yesterday that they would have to see how Boldin feels during warmups to decide if he could playin the game. But if he plays he would play full out and not be worked back in slowly. Breaston would be moved back to the 3rd wr role.

Going with Boldin over Holt and Avery. If he takes half the snaps, I like his chances better than my other options.

Whhile I wouldn't say Boldin is better than Fitz, I'd hardly say the opposite, either.Pretty much a dead heat from where I sit.

Boldin- Games Started 70 Rec. 440 Yards 5824 YPR 13.2 TDs 34

Fitzgerald- Games Started 66 Rec. 366 Yards 5090 YPR 13.9 TDs 39

I know Boldin's combine numbers or college reputation weren't as good as Fitzgerald's, but take those two things away, and they are equally good receivers with different strengths.

Some reports are saying he will see "30-35 snaps" while others say he will "not be limited." Is that the number of snaps he typically gets when healthy? :)

I believe that the 30-35 quote predates the not limited one. I am starting him over Vincent Jackson.

That worked out well for me, didn't it? If anyone needs any advice going forward, just ask

Because everyone cares I would like to report that I came to my senses and started Q. Man that guy is awesome.

yeah... the guy is " money" in the red zone. I own Fitz so it's really frustrating watching Warner look his way most of the time in the red zone but it does seem that Fitz gets doubled more down there & Boldin is open as well.. As long as Warner is healthy.. this passing game is scary good..

was leaning between 'holdin like' boldin and newly acquired avery in FFOC league. Have the 2 az receivers and TO. Ended up plugging in Boldin, though I wish I had started avery instead of TO, though that's a given moving forward. Love having both AZ receivers in there. Good for 200 and 2 tds practically every game...
