Boldin vs. R.Moss (1 Viewer)

In a PPR league who is more valueable?

Moss receptions, targets and week to week production has been down the past couple years, and in a PPR league his touchdowns don't put him high enough to merit a top 6 WR rank.

We all know the pass attempts will come down in Arizona... how far does that drop Boldin's receptions and touchdowns.

If you had to take one of these two in a PPR league who would you go after and why?

Ooops sorry. Randy

Boldin, without question.

He had 100 catches in each of his full seasons (even missing a couple games to injury), and had 50 catches in his half-season. He is a lock for the 100 catch per season pace.

I'd take Moss.

Boldin has the better odds in ending the season with more catches, but Moss has the better odds in ending the season with more TDs. I think that he will have quite a bit of redzone attempts and it would not surprise me to see Moss average close to a TD a game. Boldin on the other hand has other guys that would be leaned on in the redzone, Edge, Fitz and even Pope if he comes around.

Now if the PPR is like 2.0 or 2.5 then all bets are off.

Boldin by a mile.

I don't want Randy Moss anywhere near my team

Like em both but Moss has 15 TD potential, Boldin isn't a redzone target so getting a lot of TD's isn't likely.

If Moss is healthy he's the #1 FF WR.

Biggest problem with Moss is you draft him 2nd round. He has this annoying habit of taking about 6-8 games/season off, getting you 2 points/game. Meanwhile Bouldin is consistantly scoring for your team.

If you want the possibility of a 200 yd, 2td game with a bunch of garbage games - Moss, else take Bouldin.

I love Moss this year - he's in my top-5 WRs.

Boldin is top-12, not top-5. PPR won't change that for me since I see about 6 extra TDs for Moss, and I ony see about 20 catches extra for Boldin.

36>20.

Not true.He has only taken time off the last two seasons from huge scoring in every FF game when he's been injured.

If you think he's going to be a WR12-20 b/c of injury, Boldin's more valuable anyway.

Otherwise, Moss has finished 1, 2, 1, 5, 5, 1 in his non-injury plagued years. Boldin won't finish that high this year.

Do you think that Shell will forcefeed him the deep ball this year as in years past in MIN?I was thinking Shell was looking more for a LaMont Ratio.

I don't think Moss was "forcefed" the ball - simply put, you throw deep and let Moss go get it.Al Davis, not Art Shell, will make sure that the deep pass to Moss stays a prominent part of the Raiders' playbook - esp. against the AFC West.

If you get the Moss of the last 3 years I'll take Boldin, I'll wait on Moss to come back to super elite stud status before throwing down high picks on him.

I understand your point, but you can not ignore the "Randy Ratio" Tice put out there. He may not have forcefed him the ball, but I think he came darn close.
