But whats the chances boldin will suit up Saturday? Any news on todays practices??

From everything I read about this particular injury he has is that its a 4 weeks process. He might suit up but it would be more of a decoy situation I think. Plus Breaston and Doucet are really coming on in the split 2 and slot roles so I would rather have Breaston this week than Boldin due to injury.

The Cardinals wrapped up their week of practice today rather uneventfully. Wide receiver Anquan Boldin (ankle) and linebacker Gerald Hayes (ankle) both sat out practice again, and while they are game-time decisions, a week off without work does not bode well for their prospects. Otherwise, a quiet, normal “Friday” on a Thursday. The team will fly out to New Orleans tomorrow

I was told last week, on Tuesday, from an inside source (who I am not going to name or anything, so you can take this for whatever you want), that Boldin already knew he was not going to dress out last Sunday, even though they kept it a secret. And I was talking to that same source yesterday, and he told me that Boldin is still pretty uncomfortable but there is a good chance that he is going to dress out and try to push through it, much like he did in the NYG game (where he was hobbling all game and while he still had a solid game, even though there were probably better options on the sideline). So while I'm not saying he is for sure going to dress out, I'm just passing on what I have heard. But I fully understand that since I cannot name the source that I do not have much credit behind this.

Boldin is a stud when he plays, but this is why the Cardinals didn't want to give him Larry Fitzgerald-type money. The guy is always hurt.

Heard Whisenhunt on NFL Radio saying it's a risk to have a guy that may not be able to play the whole game when you can only dress 45. Sounded like he wasn't likely to let Boldin go this weekend.
