So far: great great drive by Rams negated on a fumble. Still, they looked very sharp, Leondard especially. He's all he's cracked up to be IMO.

 
SJ is out. At least he didn't play 1st series.

Turner looks GREAT. So does pretty much everyone on both Os IMO. Hm maybe I will go for Gates -

PS GREAT catch for the SD TD.

 
As a Charger fan, I'm not all that worried about the first-string defense giving up long drives in back-to-back weeks, but I don't really care for how those drives are being sustained - with costly penalties on third-and-longs.

 
Rams continue to keep Bulger/etc in and looking good.........oop until Bulger overthrew in the end zone and SD picked it off, lol

PS: I was getting sick of the Leonard hype but again I can't stress enough how good IMO he looks. Calling him a FB is a joke; at least I've never seen a FB with a burst like that.

Rivers with a smooth pass to Gates, another 12ish yds, yawn

Turner for no gain but there was nothing there.

Again pretty much both Os IMO have looked......wait, never mind, Rivers just tripped over his own two shoes, lol - did someone tie his shoelaces together

 
Dunno where people are getting the idea that Sjax had a carry for 7 yards at the beginning - that was Leonard.

I have no idea why SD doesn't throw to Gates more. The guy is a monster, that 28 yard catch down the sidelines was against perfect coverage and he just went up and got it. Two targets, two catches for 40 yards. Time to bump up those targets.

Don't worry about him, he just isn't from the Pac-1 so he's automatically the worst quarterback in the league. :)

Looks like the RAMS got a real steal in Leonard, they have to find ways to get him on the field, what a burst when he hits the hole.

 
No shiite. First I've ever saw him and that was what immediately struck me.

side note, a little surprised how little interest this game is drawing here, esp given how long a number of the starters played-?

Seriously, it never ceases to amaze me how freaking little he is. Seemed like a high schooler dominating back at K-State, and the difference is more pronounced now. Still, he's a STUD.

The other games involve the Packers, Steelers, Broncos, and Cowboys. I'm surprised this game even got on the air.

:popcorn: I think there's enough room on the air for "all" these games. FYI they play even more all at the same time during the reg. season.As for the FFers, I forgot what a hotbed of FF studs the Pack and Stillers are. :rolleyes: ;)
 
It looks like Gross was sent off on a cart. It was very cool to see Tomlinson walk over to the cart and talk to him before it left.

LT = Class - NFL needs more players like him.

 
Did McMichael get any passes thrown his way? I can't picture the TE doing much in a STL offense but he could add another dimension to their passing game. Did he even play? TIA.

I can't say for sure but I don't think he played. Don't remember hearing his name once.
 
No stats, did Naanee even play?

He played fairly well in week 1. I don't expect much from him this year, but he's a deeeeeep sleeper.
